Thanks for sharing your adventurous exploratory spirit I have too many adverse mental health conditions and paranoia to travel by myself the ghostly train and restaurant even though the food looked superb . Algiers is home to Nobel Prize in Literature recipient Albert Camus simply one of the most brilliant authors of the 20th century and father of existentialism itself . Also author Paul Bowles of The Sheltering Sky famous book was an ex-Pat there . Aside from the spirit of these two geniuses the best of them all is a French author and veteran of the Algerian Civil War brutal and catastrophic I forget his name but he wrote TOMB OF 500.000 Soldiers and Eden Eden Eden both are impossible to find prohibitively expensive and yes English translations forget it I bought and read Tomb twenty years ago and it's one of the greatest anti-war novels ever written but it's so much more I could write pages as to its merit . I haven't read Eden Eden Eden yet I got lucky last year and secured an English translation for $35 savoring the time and place for it to blow my mind – Tomb of 500k Soldiers is EVERY BIT as good as if not superior to Joseph Conrad's Hearts of Darkness- a true story mind you when he was a river boat captain on a commercial boat on the Congo River in the Belgian Congo during King Leopold II's genocidal reign of terror in search of rubber sap. 💀💀💀
Welcome to Algeria… Where are you from?
I love your videos. I’ve always been curious about how our people live in Africa and I needed an American Black persons perspective because I know it will be accurate from our perspective. THANK YOU
They give you separate sugar cubes as well as granulated sugar because some people like to hold a cube in their teeth as they drink and let the tea pour over to melt it.

@Sly! .you ain’t noticing this but I must bring it to your attention…the street names you walking pass are of African head of states that helped Mozambique gain independence.
They even have Siyad Barre Ave ( former ruler of Somali ( when it was sane now it is insanity). He equipped them with military training & Somali passports to travel with)
I like the way you show the food you eat. You focus on the food.

you are so welcome in algeria 🇩🇿
It feels like touring Lafayette district in Tunis. Love it or hate it, that Napoleon era architecture is in interesting relic of our past, many want to tear them down because they remind us of colonialism (most of us hate France with a passion if you didn't know) but personally I feel that History should be preserved for its own sake, no matter how we feel about it. Love from Tunisia 🦅we're one nation in two countries! make that three
