I am in that category that send money home, an amount of a thousand euros each month. The most annoying things I have heard is they telling me what the exchange rate is. From my experience some family members back home can bank bankrupt you.
600 pounds = N510k every month…over N6m on both sides of the family…Dang. This is truly playing GOD.
What I do…I tell everyone…I don't do emergencies. If you need support, ask 3 months in advance and I will take note…I will always point out that there are other needs…so every request is 3-6 months which means you get maybe two main assistance per year and there is a limit even with the amount.
