  1. 35 old or older big mistake stay in Nigeria Don’t come to the west to suffer life it’s not happiness in here Nigerian people struggle they regret moving to the west

  2. @Phrankleen: You'll take it easy with the joke interludes. The sarcasm flew out and I laughed till tears dropped off my eyes 😂. Anyway, thank you for sharing.

  3. 34.14-“They like to normalize suffering!” There are no truer words spoken. I am a Foundational Black American (FBA) woman and my man is African. We live in Japan as English Teachers. He said ants to go to the US. I told him that we are already winning. Know when to leave the casino. The living cost in the USA is 40% more than in Japan. Just know when you are winning. You don’t have to drop your winnings to go and lose somewhere else.

  4. I left in my twenties with an H1 visa, legally. Thank God. Relocation is for adults with nothing to loose and young adults who are just starting life and have nothing to loose as well. Legal migration is the koko.

  5. Very sensible woman.
I broke my spine at 25 here in the UK working HOISTS in the care facilities. I am 37 now and still suffering chronic pain from that injury. I would not advice any 48 yr old to come and develop such health problems especially when the person is stable in Naija. Please don’t do it

  6. Phrankleen, as for the woman who is lamenting building back home having worked in UK, with stable income and good credit history, perhaps she can apply for a loan and start building in Nigeria.

  7. I literally got goosebumps listening to you . This is all truth. More african should open their eyes . The west call them to work in their countries to be slaves knowing Africans are hard working people . But hey ho Africans think it's all all the good for them do open yours and look at the reality. As the saying goes in the Uk you only survive you don't thrive. AFRICA IS YHE FUTURE

  8. as a black person born in England don't make the move
I speak to people from abroad from all races and the loneliest is crippling, from my Nigerian friend he said it was the first time in his life he was desperate for conversation, like he was starved of human contact
the food is terrible and if you are fit, you will get fat and have to relearn how to be fit in the U.K.
your health almost becomes a second job, there is something about the food it's just poison

passive aggressive is the only way to describe the people, a lot of black people here have deep insecurities
an many don't know where that stems from because we really ever get a chance to step back an analyse the way others are treated in comparison to the way we are treated
so we tell ourselves "it was just that person" an we move on but after years …… if you judged how you feel now vs living here for 10 years, you will feel noticeably worse about yourself after 10 years

the weather is cold and I'm going to say it
we have a lot of foreigners and just because British people are not racist doesn't mean the person immigrating from Russia isn't racist
however, the sad sad truth is ……… this place is a death trap for young people
too many times ive seen African parents crying about losing a child, I've seen it too much and it hurts more because African people are normally blind sighted by it, they do not expect it
an you see them crying their hearts out, this wouldn't happen back home and he was good boy
the streets don't care, the British we all know it's a possibility and we have become hardened to it
we cry but we accept it
African mothers really struggle with it an the kids don't have the awarenesses of society they live in
like, you see two people fighting you dont get involved no matter how wrong it seems
    if anything call the police
one boy saw a later boy bullying a smaller boy, he tried to stop it and was deleted, he lost his life trying to do what was right
black boys dies too often here

there was a large gang war that happened in 2013 in London when the Somali migrants came over
the country was mostly Caribbean people and africans
the Somalis wanted to take over an using war tactics the deleted a lot of western African boys
it got to the point if you looked western African they would try and harm you

Every person says" I have come here to make money then I'm going home, to my country" no matter the race
the U.K. is not a place to retire, it's not a place to grow old
you get your money and leave

  9. I came to US at 36 after loosing my job and being jobless for almost 4 yrs doing petty hand to mouth businesses. It was the best decision I did to my life. I was able to put myself to university from undergraduate with my own sweat and now have a masters in. public health. I have a good home in the US brought my daughters here and one graduated as an electrical engineer and two are nurses. That was a pipe dream for me in Kenya. I have built myself a six bedroom one storey mansion all rooms with bathrooms and toilet and bought a 60 acre farm and built apts and pieces of land. I have no regrets for coming to the US at that age. Go where your heart is but never lose focus what took you there.

  10. Some people are easily persuaded, but honestly we Nigerians are one of the strongest people with individual minds. I am so in awe that you downgrade us this way. Hey do we talk about the achievements of all others around the?, how narrow can we continue to allow out minds to be controlled?
