  1. Великолепна рецепта! И в България приготвяме по подобен начин ястието. Благодаря и здраве на вашите ръце!

  2. Thank you. I was looking for a recipe similar to how my late husband made this. He was Egyptian and I would love to food he'd make. I've made a few things that he used to make and most have turned out Fair well. I'll definitely try this recipe, because I always hated that he'd fry the eggplant.

  3. Mririam we lived in Egypt and we use to get the smashed chicken from Abu Shaqra in Maadi. I wish if you have recipe for this amazing almost deboned chicken, they cooked under big block of iron board, I just do not know what was the spices, I would greatly appreciate the recipe for smashed chicken. Thank you

  4. I'm definitely going to cook this recipe. Thank you.
Edit: as an update, I prepared this recipe last night and my family loved it. The very best eggplant recipe we've ever had. It has become a new family favorite. Thank you.

  5. I'm a chef. I know exactly why some skin is left on. it is to keep the shape of the food. If you peel it all, it shrinks and distorts more. If you keep the skin on whole, it may or may not taste as good, depending upon preparation, hence, to remove some "bitterness" BUT keep the same shape, peel the skin partially. Now you know why. However, in some instances, partial skin is left on for appearance, but again, depending on preparation.

  6. I love middle eastern good. I can't do spicy but it's so delicious. My ex (hole) was Arabic, made a dish once where she had a potato, cut in thick chunks or slices, then cut each one in half and stuffed with minced beef and stuff. Does anyone have the recipe? Or what it could be called. Tomatoe sauce was also in it.
