Mabu, the largest rainforest in southern Africa, remained off-limits for years due to the civil war that plagued Mozambique.   1. So, non-indigenous scientists have not yet learned that "discovering" "pristine" areas, then broadcasting about them sounds their death knell? Something by definition is no longer "untouched" once "scientists" have set foot there. How about not "discovering" places for your greedy idea of "knowledge" and just leave some of this struggling planet alone?

  2. Thank you to the scientists who are trying to find enough species that it can be turned into a protected area. So much of our natural world disappearing. Without these dedicated humans there will be nothing left.

  3. It's not going to happen it's just gonna be more farmland in 60 years time just you wait. I don't have optimism for humankind at all the fact that places have to be "protected" and not even that works is ridiculous just have common sense and don't destroy you ecosystem

  4. Just like in the war time, all the large mammals were hunted for food to extinction. No legislation or benevolent hubris is going to save any animal or creature when they stand in the way of humans. We are a scourge to this world.
