Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Uganda

I had a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Nothing beats sitting in silence on the cold grounds of a Ugandan rainforest, just watching a gorilla family as they go about their day, stripping leaves from branches, and observing you in return with their liquid brown eyes.

A gorilla trek in Uganda can last…

  1. What a really amazing & informative vlog & what a great guide you have there!❤.I will be on the Serengeti in Tanzania in 10 weeks and my next trip after that is gorilla trekking in Rwanda.Your vlog has now presented a real conundrum for me in that now I'm seriously considering changing my itinerary so that I gorilla trek from the Ugandan side.A real debate going on in my head right now.

  2. great work but the statement about gorillas attacking absolutely when they feel threatened and throw the carcasses to the wayside is highly inflammatory and misrepresents them…..there is not a single case i am aware of where a gorilla attacked a human because "they feel threatened"……in fact the only 2 known attacks occurred AFTER the humans had stolen a baby and were trying to escape…..in reality if what you claim were true these type of treks would be impossible because there would be NO WAY to assure such interactions would not create the situations you claim would lead to attacks…these treks are only impossible because gorillas are predictable regarding their behavior and have shown themselves to be non-aggressive and non-threatening unless clearly provoked beyond any reasonable degree…A HUGE difference between "feeling threatened"….and being threatened….

  3. This is so absolutely incredible! I could literally spend all day watching them.
It seems like you guys had an awesome guide. I really hope to be able to travel to Africa in the next few years. It would be a dream come true.

  4. Really cool video with good information about the background history of the gorilla trekking. I missed that part in many of these videos. Nice job 😊
