Mount Meru, Tanzania

An ascent of the 4566m extinct volcano in Tanzania, the 9th highest mountain in Africa. A three-day hike through the forests of Arusha National Park, home to giraffes and cape buffalo, leads to a picturesque summit with an impressive crater and views of Kilimanjaro.
