  1. same in Romania 🇷🇴 , but without the saffron & raisins.
    we add 3-4 red peppers/kg & use fresh tomatoes beside the paste.
    4 garlic/kg at the end before settling down.
    delicious served with fresh bread only or with mashed potatoes .

  2. Love this recipe. I have made it a few times without tomato purée as it gives my husband heartburn. It’s still AWESOME. Even my son whom doesn’t like sweet potatoes will gobble it down. Thanks for a great recipe.

  3. I love gordon, your awesome chef. With many others, " E, martha, and of course chef boyardee" love it we need some good chefs. Around the town. Did I fail to mention julia fairchild, of course they ain't nobody like betty crocker for those of us that just can't hang! I mean if you can't handle the crock pot or microwave oven your screwed tattooed a sad situation for us that work and would love for gordon to russell up some lamb burgers, or some old fashion cooking like my jesus christ in heaven. I love god and know that if you read the lords prayer heaven on earth it shall be done. So unless u want die a miserable death and perish in the pits of hell. You better lesson to E with mulberries, promegrantes and a delicious punch or this what about a good bottle if red wine and some lamb stew. Or a lamb burger with rosemary fried and possibly a great big tray of your fnest looking ng olives, figs, GRAPES cheeses and sprout bread or some good old fashion sour dough cause I'm not gonna be that person whosettled for that cow tattooed and now your screwed in the big pot of stew or a pig glazed ham. You know I got ask ya! Do u want a hamburger with 95percent grease in your pan of stew or a lamb stew or burger with rosemary or some beef fat lard fries dripping in grease. I love a good ham, but I promise unless your having a big BBQ sauce filled sandwich. Well forget. Or a spiral ham. But think about this what did jesus eat. And many famous names in the bible. Gordon ramsey please throw together a tasty christmas meal with a cook off with marth and emeril or is emory " E" I love it when carlos show up with a big pan of cake. Like in the bible. In that unleavwd bread a good greek salad or just a leaf salad. Live it hope this makes s nse I have no glasses I'm almost blind. LoL WWJD amen smiling ear to ear.

  4. I also made it for Easter but in the end (last hour of boiling) I added a little house wine( made at home, not buyed – rose wine) because it was a little oily. It perfectly balanced the taste. Gordon Ramsay, you are a genius. I wish I could meet you just to shake your hand. Thank you for sharing with us.

  6. I'm from Morocco 🇲🇦 and I have to say that Was brilliant, we don't cook it like that but that fast and nice.. u may wanna season the onion with pepper and salt a bit more because you loose 35% percent of your Lamb seasoning. Overall Spot on ! Fuck me !!
