Imo, there's nothing wrong with dating some single moms….. HOWEVER I hold them to a way higher standard than I would a woman without kids. You better not be broke. I don't want to hear about how bad the father is. I'm not babysitting etc. The child should be well behaved. And you should be open to having kids in the future.
Very few pass all those checkmarks, so 95 percent of the time it's a hard pass.

As a man that has kids (grown now) I've learned that dating a woman with kids isn't what it's cut out to be. I will not partaketh it this sort of behavior agaaaain. At least for me I prefer a woman with no kids or grown kids (empty nester) such as myself. I'm too old now to play stepdaddy or have to wait for a person with kids to have time for me.
More and more women are having children by multiple men. The sexual revolution started it. There was a time when women that had many children, it was by the same man and that was the husband. The man and woman were married. Now, there are men that have two or three families. But these females love men like this.
The sad part is many fathers would like to play active roles in their children's lives. However, the visits are usually blocked by the mother and then they want a stepfather while the real father wants to be there.

As a former stepfather in a marriage I can easily say that I still love them but the overall detriment that has occurred in my life by taking that amount of responsibility on was absolutely irresponsible.
