  2. Finally, Nico, you have said it because you have experienced it; Ugandan cultures need to incorporate a bit more spice and herbs into their foods. Ugandan food was the best until I ate Nigerian food and later Kenyan foods when I lived (Githurai 44 -Zimma) . Jamaican food when I relocated there was even more flavorful and aromatic. Then I became an American in Atlanta , it all went South real quick! They have the dullest tasting foods of all time! I think, if we were to add a few spices/ herbs to our cultural dishes … nothing crazy … kitono nyo, wano ne wali, we could elevate our local dishes to another level.

  3. Watching from Oklahoma City. Love the tour guide and how she is showing the Mombasa street food tour. The historic sites she was showing. Best video ever!!! Love these ladies👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

  4. Those 2 ladies are amazing!! They exude intelligence, knowledge, poise and self confidence, I love the way they explain things and they have a presence on camera that is very endearing. I will be following them and the next time I'm in beautiful Mombasa, I'll look them up. Nicholas, you come across as a bit dorky, perhaps you can refine your approach using what you've learnt from these ladies. Love from the USA.

  5. Very long good food tour. Your camera quality has improved at night!! Is it the good lighting at the places you filmed or new editing technics like colour grading?!

  6. Since it is a food channel and we are counting on you to eat on our behalf, feel free to do so and compel anyone in your video (lady with nails) to eat along (the octopus and the ugali too)!

  7. Your guide sounds Ugandan (in accent) I think I've finally found my long-lost sister: Glad to know there are still some great accents in Kenya. Thats just me saying great video and thanks to your lady guide.
Kenya is indeed a sight to behold and a great place to visit. Certainly, Mombasa is on my must-list.
