Mobutu, supported by Belgium and the US… this says it all
You guys listened to me 😀
This man puts himself before his country. He was a son of a bitch.
Mobutu was not a despot, leave us alone. Not every thing was good but we were at peace. Rest in peace Maréchal.
The man who will double cross for Western colonial ways
En français s'il vous plaît
Watching from Mackinac Island Michigan
The video is full of little untrue statements that I can’t continue watching 3 minutes in
He was no more than a traitor to his mother land
Its funny how African countries become easier to exploit post colonialism. Some shiny new cars, a few luxury apartments, and access to easy women and they will hand over resources for pennies on the dollar.
The only truth concerning so called black people is the five books of the organic message that was written by so called black people to & for so called black people. read "BLACK TRUTH WHITE FEAR, THE SLEEPING GIANT, A WHITE ROBE FOR BLACK FAITH, WHITE LIE, SOUL OF THE NEGRO" these five books were written by The Most High Scribe & Messenger Moses Smith
This feels like a highly appropriate documentary to come out at the time of our recent and blatantly rigged elections in the RSA…
"Giving cattle herds to people who couldn't tell a bull from a cow" is also such an on point remark for much of the continent.
It seems as though most African countries share the story of the Congo to a greater or lesser extent: Raped, bled and brutalized from both the outside and the inside with equal rapaciousness.
As for Mobutu himself, I suspect he cared for his country with all the depth of love that a narcissistic serial rapist feels for their victims.
48:14–48:17 Who is that woman?
What an utter monster that guy was, he probably killed 20 million
Do Christopher Hitchens!
Wow he said sardonic. Thank you! Lol
Jean Bedel Bokassa will be next, right?
Do one on bad farts.
Candidat na biso Mobutu.
I appreciate the effort you put into making such an engaging and educational video
Great to continue learning from you guys.
Ali Bomaye!
Reminds of the playbook used by of one of our current day “leaders”….
He was an animal
👍👍
Good video.
It's very interesting that trauma fuels this type of bad guy
why not global protests against all of his REAL genocide and crimes against humanity in the congo at US and EU universities?: ahhh, he is not a jew thats why.
Dictatorland by Paul Kenyon
I've had this book for awhile, i think this guy will be in there.
The thumbnail looks like Notorious B.I.G if he lived until old age 😀
Mobuto was a complete and utter idiot the Congolese economy at the beginning of its independence was the 2nd most industrialized nation in Africa and at one point in time its economy grew to reach the 17th largest in the world before the crisis and subsequent theft of the nation that fool had all the tools literally to turn The republic of Zaire into the wealthiest nation in Africa and around that time Asia and Africa both where in the same economic situation but due to the Cold War and its very valuable strategic resources the greatest powers United States and the Soviet Union supported multiple overthrows across the continent
“If you steal, do not steal too much at a time. You may be arrested. Steal cleverly, little by little.”
Mobutu Sese Seko
The Congo was better off with Patrice
Lumumba. Now look at it, a mess
Y'all should write a book. I am sure there will be many buyers.
Please do one for Thomas Sankara
Definitely need a Patrice Lumumba and even a Moïse Tshombe biography. Pierre Mulele was an interesting figure as well, former education minister and Maoist who met a brutal end
European government's loved him so to America. Ends up in Morocco a Muslim country as no Christian nation took him in.
Please make a video on Patrice Lumumba, not enough people know his story.
His legacy still tears Congo up 😢
Someone who’d be great for a People Profile is Christopher Lee, the actor with an early life just as impressive as his film resumes
Love your content guys! Thanks For this 😊😊😊
