  1. If they don't integrate like all white schools was forced to do, they should be. I see no whites in their bands by lots of black in "Historically White schools" so isn't that racism.

  2. DAMN! If WE don't continue to support ourselves, THIS is what will happen, EVERY time!

I went to Southern and worked at FAMU and can tell you why the HBCU experience helped me.

Let's invest in OURSELVES, obviously, no one else will!

  3. If Mississippi raises taxes that would help keep the schools going and they can do what my state did they can combine some of the local colleges with the larger universities and have satellite schools and no one looses and stop calling white people you people or those people white people are not your enemy politicians are

  4. With this going on black people don’t want to vote 😳. That’s crazy. Get yourself out there and vote. Vote these people out of office.

  5. Sawubona Brother Dr. Abdullah. Just discovered this clip by you. I have been a subscriber for years. Glad to see and listen to your presentation. Will be in touch. For justiceandpeace. Mwata

  6. Those are the same bigoted idiots who not so long ago were
blaming poverty in black communities on laziness on the part
of blacks for not going to school, get an education to better
themselves. Now they’re afraid that blacks are getting much
too educated, and represent a threat to white supremacy. Now
they want that progress slowed down. There’s no going back.

  7. I couldn’t agree with you more. The more progress we make the more backlash comes from them. They know if the plane field is equal we will win and they don’t want that. But they need to understand is that we don’t want revenge we want respect. In every sense of the word

  8. MORE W.O.L. (Wondering Out Loud) if ALL THE BIPOC religious groups, ESPECIALLY THE MEGA-CHURCHES, AND ALL OF THE DIVINE NINE PANHELLENIC ASSOCIATIONS, INC. could eschew PREJUDICES, and rivalries, they too could also unite and save ALL THE MISSISSIPPI HBCU’S

  9. Just WONDERING OUT LOUD IF our wealthy cadre of enetertainment and media personalities could stop tearing each other down with gossip and or other dramas, form an educational CONSORTIUM and purchase all three, then make them three unique campuses under one unapologetically BLACK AMERICAN BRAND?

  10. Republicans are like the nazi's . They will come for us! Look they are after woman rights, trans rights, gay rights. And human rights. Untill we stop them!!!

  11. They got billions an top of billions of dollars to send to ukraine, give to illegal aliens, give to them khazars calling themselves jews, but cant feed the poor, take care of vets, or take care of its own country. SMH. My people, learn a trade and go to work. No need for college anymore. Bout time you graduate, no more jobs in sight.

  12. Nothing makes me as ashamed of my pale heritage as such bigots trying to screw over people of color. These jackaloons have so much already, but they always want everything for themselves and their descendants. 😠

  13. This is disgusting. My father in-law enlisted in the Air Force and later enrolled and graduated from Jackson State. He had a thirst for learning and leading, and ultimately achieved the rank of 2 Star General in the United States Air Force. That's unheard of for enlisted personnel (let alone a black man). But his degree from Jackson State, along with a Masters Degree from USC were instrumental in propelling his career. Without Jackson State, who knows what opportunities he would have missed out on.

  14. So many died so these schools could live. The young see music and videos as a way forward now. Culture? What culture? Reality is going digital across all races and so forth. The young don’t seem to want to carry culture forward, you know? Focus is extraordinarily on self enchantment now instead of history or race. Regardless of the reason a total break from the old paradigm is occurring on every single level of mankind right now. If you feel it grinding you it is. Flow with it. It’s way better than yesterday’s vibe if you can ride it. Let go.

  15. Of the 8 schools, which ones have the lowest tuition? That might answer the question. Are they trying to make it more expensive for HBCU students to get a degree? Kicking down.

  16. WE have to formulate a new game plan to deal an organized and systematic attack on our rights. Even though we work and pay taxes, those people who hate believe we do not deserve the right to achieve by the means of education and hard work. Those who preach divisions and fascism expect us to pay the same price and the same taxes just to receive less for our achievements. However, judging all people in the same standards would be just as wrong as the unfair treatment we sometimes receive.

  17. My friend, I'm in Shreveport LA. I wonder if they'll try that with our Awesome HBCU'S Grambling & Southern University? It's insane, punishment is what I call it here. It's atrocious.

  18. What? Jackson water treatment, Jackson’s mass graves behind police station, football hero embezzlers, and THIS is the ‘ledge’s response? I swear every one of your state legislature members must have a clone in office here in okie-homa! I despair for this country.

  19. Read between the lines BEFORE you choose the next political candidates. As you hear what they DO say, listen carefully for what they DON’T say.

    People over party!🐘🇺🇸🫏

  20. But some of you (black folks) are going to vote for Trump when he and his party enact laws and policies aimed against us currently. Yes Democrats aren't perfect but its apple and oranges. I am voting for Biden to make my demands for better. We can survive another 4 years of Biden but the other guy will embolden people and laws you see in Mississippi and elsewhere.
