@peterponcedeleon3368

All these liberals and conservatives believe we need more housing, just not in their neighborhood.

@ramonsanchez5175

Bought the home not the neighborhood? you absolutely buy the neighborhood

@AM-gm3zx

Awesome, I want to see more ADUs

@goyo9698

Getto parking

@jyack275

Mira Mesa has so many haunted spots.

@tastyorange

This country is turning to shit from overpopulation

@ceevee7825

Eventually you're going to want to move out of the big cities. It's Gona be get a lot worse with more homeless people and migrants.

Oh what a mess this will be. Shame on San Diego for allowing more than 1 ADU per backyard. I feel bad for all the surrounding neighbors. Privacy gone, parking nightmares & so many other issues.

@dianegreen1937

The nerve to say, "You brought a house, not a neighborhood." Bet he wouldn't do that in HIS neighborhood!

@craigrad8772

I thought that the ADU laws required that the owner must occupy the property. This was supposed to prevent developers from buying up all of the inventory and making it harder to own a home. Who is enforcing this? Or did the city lie when they stated this to the planning groups?

Most likely they couldn’t rent out and they can’t get that low because the builder can’t lose money they are not charity so I don’t think they going to rent it out specifically a lot of people are been layoff right now

@MelvinElsea

All of you people about this buildings like that are full of s***

@integrags1

Perfectly legal. Blame the law makers

@kwirkLA

Hope these literal NIMBYs don't complain about homeless people or the price of rent their kids have to pay

@scojjac

This is amazing! Seriously needed to bring housing costs down.

@markhilsen2700

I bought my home for the neighborhood

@seanmayo3929

There's an increasing level of the need for housing and this tries to address that. What's the problem?? 💁🏽‍♂️

@jerrylayton1635

Parking will be a bummer when you have 20 people in one building welcome to San Diego

@rws91942

I'm tired of nimby's. Most of us are tired of them as well. With vacancy rartes extraordinarily low in San Diego , yah can just get fucked..

Y'all don't allow for ADUs but you also don't allow for large apartment complexes in commercial areas either. The only thing you do allow is for more sprawl further east.

Again get fucked.

@FriscoLexusBabe415

Build more housing! Just not in my backyard 😂

@kisnhug6694

No thanks😢 If that's going in, I'm going out.🤬

@crisantomorales600

The Crook city of San diego😂😂😂😂😂😂

@crisantomorales600

😂😂😂😂the government will get more property tax. Money

@boogie4099

Linda Vista too

@pd2468

She's full of it too she's delusional we don't need that know we don't yep San Diego law see what happens when you vote Democrat it's over people I'm not even a republican but I'm thinking about being one now

@pd2468

6 to 10:00 in one housing what is this Mexico we're going to look like freaking China no privacy no space no nothing congested don't forget the vehicles are coming you're going to have thousands and thousands of more vehicles on the highways

@pd2468

Do you see his attitude he don't care as long as he's making money he don't care about the residents I'm in the construction business guys like this do not care cuz they don't live there

@pd2468

Oh you ain't seen nothing yet it's coming to your neighborhood watch and they're actually making them for all the illegals they're letting into this country now because they're going to get free money they'll be able to rent them they'll be in programs Section 8 as long as the state pays for it people are not going to care well what did you expect from Gavin Newsom he's destroying California

@pd2468

Whoever the developer is he's full of smoke blowing it up people's butts because I'm in the construction business we do not have a shortage of housing here in California actually we have too much housing in California too many vacancies because higher rent so we don't need to build more

@pd2468

Oh by the way it has nothing to do with affordable housing the ones are being built or four or five thousand dollars for rent that's how big they are only drug dealers can afford that

@pd2468

Yeah and that's why they need to push for a recall on this to stop it it was designed for granny flats for little editions not for two-story monstrosities I've seen some crazy ass s*** I mean it is unreal California won't have a backyard anymore Holmes will have the street they will have no backyards no front yards cuz they have to turn that in the parking for all the freaking cars

@lyssac889

Except most adus are not market price or are being used as airbnbs … lol and you can’t even blame people with mortgage rates increasing etc everyone’s trying to survive

@houseoffolly

Guess who spends the most on bribes(campaign donations) to the city politicians. Tha'ts right, the real estate cabal .

@aslo4812

Affordability..yeah right

@MrBornfisher

Screw thy neighbor!
Hey if you want affordable housing, approve a mobile home park!

@cuautemoctgo

Before build something build a parking lot. Cities create chaos

@nickgustin

What’s that saying: “There goes the neighborhood.”

@marionkorte7801

So why do all the apartments they've built in my neighborhood advertise as luxury apartments? I thought this was supposed to encourage affordablility?

@richardricca8012

If you're adding a 2 story and it's looking into someone else's backyard, then you should not have any windows facing that properties backyard, it's only right.

@kvn_d_rmrz

We just building apartment complexes now

@fern6181

American greed baby!

@wsgeo

There has been a housing shortage for decades, and building ADUs will not change the price of rentals. If you want to see the effect ADUs have on neighborhoods, look at the condo builds of the 1980s in North Park. It negatively affected the area.

@paulscanter5562

This is absolute crap and this kind of thing is ruining our neighborhoods and our city. I’m sick and tired of us having to lower our standard of living to make room for people from somewhere else. It needs to stop.

@waffles87

Lowering the cost of rentals but raising the price of owning. 🤦
