I enjoyed this in Lesotho years ago. I bought some RED sorghum and it is wonderful. Will try the white now as well. Thank you!

Good video. You should try to ferment it so it's not harsh on your tummy. Try adding kefir as a cheat version and leave it six hours to ferment (or overnight) then cook it like usual 🙂

There’s also a fermented version of this that contains a beneficial probiotic.

Is the recipe correct with 1tbsp maizeflour as you took 2tbsp and I guess we should be very very generous with our tablespoons from your actual measurements. 🙂 Love

There is a simple explanation why this works. Ancient Sorghum & Millet have pretty high vitamin & mineral content surpassing oat based porridge

Sorghum and millet has been used by Africans for more than 4000 years…maize, maize not. Maize was brought to Africa by the Portuguese from North America. Maize is not an African food.
