  1. They had the choice not to take their children and enter another country illegally
    No sympathy for them for putting their children through this stupidity. None of them should be granted asylum in USA.

  2. the newly elected President of Panama promised to entirely close the Darien Gap. Hopefully he really fulfills his promise! I'm Colombian and support the idea of closing the gap, for both environmental and social reasons, it is bringing so much trouble to Colombia, Panama, and the whole continent

  4. Those poor children, they are skin and bones, emaciated. What I don't understand is why their mothers are grossly overweight, while the children are starving. A person has to eat a lot to get that fat. Horrified to think they are taking food from their children but no other way to explain it.
