  1. I've been to American churches in Spanish that had a Mexican pastor & I've never laughed so many times. Have heard stories of black churches & maybe even videos & boy, do those people engage

  2. Story isn’t even believable. Dude sounds like he’s from California. How he was imitating a black baptist church doesn’t even represent what goes on in a baptist church. Idk..maybe he went to a baptist church in Los Angeles. Baptist churches in the south are a totally different breed…and I’m from the South.

  3. To be fair, this is more of a boring Catholic church vs a not boring Protestant church thing.

If a priest or pastor is just going through the motions, it's going to be boring, but if they're really passionate about teaching, it's never boring.

  4. Bro hasn't gone to that many Mexican Masses. I literally got a list of priests that are good and those that aren't when giving a sermon. There are entertaining Sermons that either function like stand up to some extent or like passionate speeches while boring ones are always just these simple lesson of the week in as few words as possible but stretched out

  5. Well that's good. Giving a new member something to do is one of the best ways to make them feel welcome. I had an elder come up to me once with some keys and said "Congratulations, you're the new teacher for 12-year-old boys. bible class"

  6. im latino, and i have been looking for a good church with a good doctrine, sadly in latino churches there is so much false doctrines,I got invited tomorrow to a black church, honestly I'm nervous, but I wanna go,they are my brothers and sisters and who knows maybe is there where I belong.
