Night travel by PSVs is too risky, should be avoided, even banned by govt, like our neighbour TZ did. Almost ALL MASS DEATHS on our roads happen at night, when buses, matatus collide with lorries or other vehicles, or lose control.
So sad! Heartfelt Condolences, fate is sometimes unavoidable, life is so fragile, but unless you MUST travel at night for some very serious reason, please avoid, especially if you don't know and/or are not used to the route 100%, take a bnb, sleep in the car or even at the bar, waambie wakuache, so sad!
I wonder if the driver knew that route well….that place was widened….pole sana to the bereaved families
