Mercedes AMG EQE SUV: Ugly but Comfortable!

This SUV has a beautiful and comfortable interior. But it doesn’t quite outweigh the weak range.

  1. First, I do not own this car, I do have an EQE non SUV, though.

Looks and design is in the eye of the beholder, some may think it looks good, you dont – fine.

If you actually had one for a longer period, you will see how the charging curve on this is is amazing!! It charges with 100KW almost all the way up to 80% .. 250KW doesnt matter at all, if the charging curve is terrible and you only hit 250KW for 2 minuttes.. The charging curve on the EQE is absolutely amazing!

The sounds, is a thing you can turn off/on

The glove box, is an actual physical button, not the voice stuff.

This car is not sporty, but it is so comfortable and such a nice drive and build quality is miles ahead of any tesla. You cant even compare it to a Tesla. And the network is only a thing in the US, here in Europe even the Tesla network is open to non Teslas.

I really think you miss the mark on this review, Marques

  2. I went to Mercedes to see these and they wanted $1500 a month for a lease (No they didn't run my credit). About 3 weeks ago they sent me a lease deal for $600 a month with 3k down for one. We test drove the Rivian, Lucid, and a few others and Lucid and Rivian are the two I like the most. Waiting for the Lucid Gravity to see if thats better but I'm pretty sold on the Rivian since I like going to national parks. The interior on the Mercedes EVs is great but the outside isn't as nice in my opinion.

  3. Car manufacturers build cars for reviews.. sound mode dial on a steering wheel? How often do you actually use these outside of the review / first week?
I haven't changed my car personalization settings since I bought it several years ago.

  4. Dude, for that price, you have to luv it. I have the GLC 300 and I luv it, but I do miss the buttons, the display is very distracting. Like you said, you need to get used to it. I don't think car designers realize that when you're driving, you can't be looking at such a big screen unless you have a co-pilot (Star Trek comes to mind). Also, glad you said the car makes noises, mine makes some noises and it makes me wonder if there's something wrong with it. But now, hearing you say that, it puts me at ease that these cares just do that. Great review.

  5. He just don't like MB vehicles and rarely gives them a great review. His comments on the Lucid Sapphire is so over the top that I'm losing confidence in his reviews. Maybe stick to tech reviews, just saying.
