Men Date “Less Attractive” Women Because They Are More Submissive

American rapper Cardi B has sparked a heated debate with her recent comments about why some men may prefer dating women who are considered less attractive. During a candid social media live stream, the “WAP” hitmaker shared her theory, suggesting that men might be drawn to less attractive women because they are perceived as more submissive and easier to control.
Cardi B explained that many men feel intimidated by confident and financially independent women, often referred to as “10s” on the attractiveness scale. These women, she argued, are less likely to tolerate disrespectful behavior and more likely to demand equality and respect in relationships. “Men prefer less attractive women because they are more submissive than perfect 10s,” she said.
She went on to add that women who lack financial independence or confidence may feel pressured to tolerate bad behavior in their relationships. “These b#tches, they don’t have nothing, they have to tolerate everything,” Cardi said passionately. “If a n#gga does some f#ck s#it, the next day, the b#tch is gonna answer the phone.”
In contrast, Cardi described how she, and presumably other high-value women, handles disrespect in relationships. “You do some f#ck s### to me, I’m putting you on f#cking yellow,” she said, holding up a glass of ice water. “You on this. This is where you at, on ice.”
According to Cardi B, women who are seen as “10s” refuse to play along with these dynamics, which some men find intimidating. “These 10s are not trying to compete,” she said. “They’re just trying to get picked. It’s crazy how that’s how men are thinking nowadays.”
The rapper’s comments, which come after her own publicized relationship struggles and recent divorce from rapper Offset, have triggered a mix of reactions on social media.
