I was born in a British colonial country and immensely proud of it. Why? Because under British rule so many countries were well-governed. Now look at them after independence, what a mess and the corruption by indigenous people has been and still is atrocious. Look at so many African countries, in deep poverty, and literally owned and being raped by China, Far worse than anything the British have been accused of. Africa cannot support itself, because it is still locked in tribal warfare. Who is complaining about China's commercial colonialism? I am proud of the British Empire because it stood for leadership, growth and progress, something respected by all countries around the world and envied by communist countries, who are only able to oppress. I am proud of Britain, the British Empire and the Pith hat. My father worked on the first Aswan dam creating progress for the people of Egypt. He wore a Pith hat to keep the heat of the sun off, I am proud of him and what he did. He fought in two world wars for freedom of all the world from tyrants and butchers, I am proud of him for that. He must be turning in his grave at all the wingers, politically correct, moaners, millenials, wokes and snowflakes, who have nothing better to do than complain and get on their high horses, and no idea of how to begin to stand up for British Colonial pride. Will Europ's grandchildren be able to be proud their grandparents were moaning, woke snowflakes. A pith hat is a super light and easy to wear hat for hot climates like Africa and Asia. Many Africans and Asians wear a pith hat, because that is where they were first made by the locals using plant fibres. Get over it, get off your politically correct band wagon.

I'm from Africa and I think we should focus more on development for our continent instead of complaining about how Melania is dressed. Its like Most Africans complain too much about colonialism & the west rather that development. Nobody is colonising Africa today so why not focus on development.
