I like the way this engineer has explained clearly how everything is done. I will continue watching his presentation, and I’m suggesting that next time he will be able to show us a complete finished three bedrooms house he’s talking about. Good job!!!
I like the bit about louvres. Can we have engineer guide or coach persons like me on what kind of burglar proof is used for a louvre blades choice, in another video?
Do you take that opposite to Uganda

For the first time a Ghanaian engineer is this honest , I am a Ghanaian based in the states , I did put up a 3 storey of 5 bed rooms and except the land , everything, I mean everything from foundation to finish roofing including drilling a borehole to totaled $78.5k build in 9 months in Tema within 2022
This is what we need in Ghana, o. Some people dey chop our money for no reason.
US have homes that are older than the country built of wood and brick. Because these homes were built to withstand the climate it is situated in. Ghana is a SUBTROPICAL region, stop building homes from cement bricks, you're building ovens!
US homes are NOT all built the same way, materials usage varies depending on the climate. For Ghana building on a foundation not slab with 18 inch thick walls of fired construction grade bricks is appropriate for the climate. And then stucco over the brick or cover the construction bricks with face bricks. Windows should be deep set, high ceilings with coverage over the windows, like a porch. The foundation should be wrapped in a water protection barrier and trenched. The one practice from the US that would be useful to adopt is using insulation in the ceilings and exterior walls, that will reduce thermodynamics transfers in the home. And Ghana homes should ALWAYS have shade trees planted 30-50 feet from the foundation of the home. Always. Thats how you build a proper house for a subtropic climate that WILL last 100 years with minimum maintenance.
Does it come with kitchen cabinets and how is the finishing of the floor
Kindly, use the cedi equivalent please. We are in Ghana
