  1. Do you prefer the A350 rather than the 787? We are flying LAX to LHR & I have heard that the 787 bed is narrower and not as comfortable. One video I watched looked like the interior really needed a facelift. Also how does the bar on the 787 compare to the social area on the A350? Lastly, is it worth stopping at the Revival lounge if you are getting in later in the day? PS. I subscribed!

  2. Gotta say, I'm a bit jelly that you've flown with them so much! I've only flown with Virgin 16 times since 2017 and I've never had a bad meal or flight. However, I feel VS needs to make WiFi free for all Upper Class passengers.

  3. Thanks for the great tips, flying in the retreat seat next month on the A330-900 Neo and looking forward to the extra space and screen size, we booked both suite seat so will pop the middle privacy screen down.

  4. Love this video. You missed a couple of things though. You can actually see the planned aircraft before you book on both the Virgin Atlantic website and the app by clicking the flight details. They no longer show you the seat map on the website, but you can see it on the app and it will also show you the available seats. You can also take an extra bag with both Silver and Gold membership tiers. Keep up the good work and enjoy your travels. ✈️

  5. Great tips, but you missed the most important (which I didn't even realise existed until a few flights in). At Heathrow, there is a seperate Revive lounge for Upper Class inbound morning flights with lovely individual bathrooms and a free breakfast cooked to order. Now I never have breakfast on the plane, I sleep as long as possible, get up an hour before landing, then head to Revive, shower, put on some clean clothes, big breakfast and I'm good to go!

  6. From your new subscriber, Thanks! Your channel is the best of it's kind so far, especially regarding Virgin Atlantic. Every one of those tips is appreciated. I'm returning to the US from LHR in the A330-300 A row upper class, hopefully there'll be no equipment switch. I like the configuration.

  7. Thank you so much for the tips. My husband and I will be going to South Africa from JFK via Heathrow in Upper Class. I particularly appreciated the menu selection. I just subscribed.

  8. Love the content on this channel, thanks for keeping it going. Clubhouse at LHR has got to be one of THE best business lounges in the World and couldn't agree more about the staff / crew. Everyone you interact with at Virgin is first class – ground crew, call centre and FA's. I don't know how they do it but everyone is so invested in the brand, it really shows. I'm sure there's a 'behind the scenes' documentary out there that gives you more insight.

  9. As much as I love the clubhouse at Heathrow. I'm looking forward to flying from Manchester the a350 they are using has a booth and not the full lounge. With only 16 upper class seats is going to be a different experience than the 787s.

  10. Good tips! If you are flying Upper Class into Heathrow, be sure to take advantage of the Revivals lounge in Terminal 3. It serves breakfast and has shower rooms. If your clothes for the day need ironing, they will be happy to help.

  11. Brilliant video. 17 years since I flew UC in the old suites. Got the Retreat Suite booked (after I saw your video and shared with a few mates). Your videos are always informative and balanced

  12. Would agree totally with your Top Ten Tips 👍. For me, both the LHR Clubhouse and the on-board crew are the standouts.
Such a shame the on-board catering often lets the overall experience down.
