Smith reminds me of Shane McGowan, in some ways. A talented bloke who wasted his talent on alcohol addiction.
The Wealdstone Raider tribute act
The panzer of wheelchairs! 😂😂😂
The Walder Fraye of…. Something??….
Brilliant interview
the interviewer trying to stick to his 'script' ha ha ha
He gets Smiffy pissed off his tits (exp£50) ,has weird time, gets an awesome pissed rant and rave of rubbish gibberish exclusive!! Cashes it in, £££££!!! RESULT!!!!!
He ain't like everybody else so don't expect the same.
If you pay attention to Shaun Rider's attitude, swagger, and poetry style….it's very similar to Mark E. Smith.
You must get a lot of offers to do Hex in full?
Oh yeah, last time was in 2001?
We are now in 2020 this interview was five years ago?
Meaning he gets asked on average once every 14 years, so not a lot then.
What a good mood he's in. He must have had just the right number of drinks.
This was great till he had him sign his ipad. Gross.
It’s not This Morning program is it
Legend..but he came over as someone who couldn't handle his drink….
Might've had to do with his health problems ………
What happened to music?
M.E.S. one of the most brilliant lyricists of the second half of the twentieth century. rest in peace you nutter.
haha classic.
One of the ugliest dudes in music, ever. Could be doherty's dad.
That Paul McCartney's looking rough.
Metal Jesus was good on this.
There's nothing I like to watch more when I'm pissed than mark smith interviews
Very high quality interview all the way through. He has a way of compelling you (even when rambling). Could listen to MES talk for hours. Possibly the funniest human I ever heard. RIP you lovable bastard.
The Real Deal – greatly missed
I’m so depressed that I didn’t get into The Fall until Mark E. Smith had already died. Little did I know that “Hex Enduction Hour” would wind up being my favorite album of all time just a few months later.
At 2:20 where he says, "Last time I was broke…" – there's a commercial for frozen food.
Oh man, he's funny. Sad to see now but he wouldn't give a shit. He lived his own life.
1:00 that look speaks volumes
"…the Panzer of wheelchairs" XD
comedy gold RIP Mark
Rest in peace, pub philosopher
Fookin guitars!
I did indeed used to see him out and about in Prestwich. Usually coming out of Bargain Booze or sat inside The Forresters. Not that I'd ever approach the bastard as he once pushed me into a wall for having the temerity to exit the gents as he was stumbling in for a piss. He really was a true one off. RIP.
R.I.P Mark seen The Fall in Liverpool years ago in the 80's
RIP Mark E Smith. What a legend
