Mandisa’s body was found at her home in Nashville, Tennessee, on Thursday evening. Her cause of death remains a mystery. She was just 47 years old.

  1. If God called you to be single then you will not have longing for marriage from the beginning. So your heart is prepared and you have right expectation from God. Its not like you have prayed to God for marriage in all your youth and then God tells you that you are called to be single in your middle age. Why would God do that and put a person in so much pain. Many Christians are trapped in wrong beliefs that God will bring a husband and they need not do anything. They think dating is wrong, moving to different place is wrong. There are more single women than women in churches. So you have be intentional and try out different things to get find the right man.

  2. I know you’re in heaven with Heaven Father but I want you to know that watching your celebration of life was extremely difficult! I quitting would have loved to have met you! ❤❤❤

  3. Girl ,girl ,girl.. This is powerful. Strong , timely for me. I am the same age as you and is wondering when God is going to send me a husband. It's just a pity you are not here with us to respond to me.. Why did you had to die girl? I miss you.. You were such a sweetheart. RIP.. condolences to your family.

  4. I got married when I was 37 years old. We have 3 kids and Trust me when I say you can be married and feel lonely, You can have kids and feel lonely. The secret is learn to be content in whatever situation you are in.

  5. She was beautiful and in many ways fully desirable. I imagine God did not intend for her to be married or she unintentionally missed her opportunity in her youth. My sister did and she is nearly 53, never married, never left home, no children. My heart breaks for her when I daily give thanks for my husband and 5 children. It is truly a blessing and a delight. Be as intentional as you can with the goal of marriage but in the meantime serve the Lord with all your heart as you do. ❤

  6. There’s 2 spirits the physical and spiritual and if you feed anyone more than the other that’s the one that’s gonna be more active not judging but it clearly shows that something was wrong once you have Jesus you have everything wait patiently people God is enough wait on him

  7. She is honest about her singleness. None of us were created to be alone. If you are aingle and ok with it good, but if God wanted us to be single, he wouldn't have created Eve.

  8. This just kills me. She never got to have this wish. But God took her home to be with him forever so I just have to believe he wanted all her love not to be selfish but to show her how precious she was to him.

  9. I wished she'd found her husband and had her babies. She seems like such a sweet person, and it hurts my heart to know she felt lonely. As for marriage, never give up if you want that. I married at 22 years old, and it was a mistake. Thankfully, we didn't have children. I found real love in my late 40s, and it has been heaven on earth. I wish I'd waited for him because love is better in the later years. We have no kids yet, but I'll be happy whether we have them or not. Don't give up because you're aging. There is someone for you.

  10. GOD has bless you QUEEN may your life living bless others who remain only if your life living was not in vain to GOD.I will continue to play your gospel in my life so my life living will not be in vain unto GOD.🕊️✝️🕊️🙏🏽😭

  11. I’m 54 and still single. I’ve always wanted to be married and have children. God hasn’t seen fit for that yet, but I’ve been blessed by an amazing fur baby that I adore. ❤️🦮🐾🦴

  13. I am still in shock of Mandisa's passing. She was a sweetheart. She was a real one. We all met at Fisk University in 1997 in Jazz band. We were doing a musical "The Wiz" during the Spring Arts Festival. We all were a tight knit group of friends. We Fiskites miss Mandisa Hundley and hold her in our hearts forever. Love.
