Man Who Attacked Las Vegas Judge in Viral Video Gets Locked Up in Prison
The man who made national news after boldly attacking a Las Vegas judge on Wednesday appeared in court Monday for sentencing. Judge Mary Kay Holthus, the victim of 30-year-old Deobra Redden’s attack, sentenced him to 19 to 48 months in prison on a felony battery charge.

I still find it crazy that they protect murder suspects more than an actual judge from being attacked.. how'd they let that happen??
I think they are showing empathy for him because he has a mental illness and he was born with cocaine in his system. When someone is pregnant and doing drugs it mentally affects the child BIG TIME, to the point that when they are born they do all kinds of messed up things not knowing how to control themselves. However, I do agree that he should not be released just because he attacked the judge and he has a lot on his records. He clearly showed that he should not be released because he already has a lot on his records and attacked the judge instead of being an adult and taking accountability for his actions. So on my end it’s more of a hit than a miss cause again he was born with crack in his system and that affects someone BIG TIME MENTALLY. But even though you have those mental problems I feel that during those crimes he did and the times he’s been in jail or court before he should learn how to handle himself.
