Did she just say ,"The whole Miller clan?" Really?
The African AMERICANS ARE NOT SLAVES , THEY WERE KIDNAPPED BY CRIMINALS AND FORCED TO WORK . ITS TIME THE FAMILIES THAT KEPT THEM COMPENSATE them for the CRIMES COMMITTED AGAINST THESE NOBLE PEOPLE.
That graveyard made me sad. No names 😢. What an incredible thing to happen it was meant to be that they own this house and uncovered they had a connection.
History
This is a amazing true story , thank you.🇫🇷🏴
Gosh that house was so incredibly cheap ! . Wonderful that they fell in love with it and restored it instead of it being sold to developers and probably being demolished .
What a wonderful story ❤
The ultimate revenge 😎
What an amazing story and family. God truly is good. I love genealogy. It binds us to our loved ones. "Families Are Forever".
I Love this Story. The full circle!
What a remarkable story. To think that their ancestors where forced to be there and went through so much pain and suffering and now their descendants get to reunite in Joy and celebrate and appreciate each other and honor their ancestors. Just remarkable and what a beautiful full circle that is. ❤❤❤
He was blessed to be put in the position to close a family circle and heal a family from the generational trauma of Slavery and more. It's just incredible that he was able to buy the home and turn it into nothing less but a Family home.
"I'm gonna fix it". That is an incredible story. Beautiful story. Thank you.
My mother never talks about the VN war and the years of reeducation either.
I love the last 😢 episode where the family come together and sing 😢😢😢😢 wow
Ase to the ancestors 🙌🏾 they came for their property 🥰
Just a contribution..I saw that picture of the family..These are the Mandinka , the fula and related tribes in present day Gambia and nieghboring countries..I know Africa in and out. I am from there and have done a lot of reading, history , anthropology and related matters..
I saw this story when it first came out. I'm glad I saw it again here. It affects me just as strongly the second time around. I am a 68 year old white woman raised in Maine. Starting at about age 12, I started researching and reading everything i could find about African Americans and slavery. (We were taught NOTHING in school!) Thank you for sharing your story, and wanting to allow everyone to come and visit Sharswood to learn. It is so important that we all know the true story of our country's history, so that we may love and respect each other. Im so glad that this happened for your wonderful family!
What an incredible story❤
Wow ❤❤❤❤, this story should be made into a movie.
😢 The enslaved were not allowed to keep their African identity.
This has robbed them of their names, language, and culture. It is so sad to hear from what the colonialists did to Africans.
Thank you, Jesus, for leading them back to their roots.
❤what an amazing story of the Miller family. It is indeed a full circle moment
Whaoooh… great story & it now begins.
