  1. I would absolutely love to visit Malawi, but as a transgender person, the risk of being imprisoned because of the current laws around gender expression is too great. 😢

  2. my dad was born and raised in malawi and i’ve always wanted to visit. i know little about the country but my dad’s always wanted to take me and my sister

  3. No more wars. Lol. Wars have been the permanent fixture for much of human civilizational history. You simply can't escape wars and it would ultimately lead to our end as well.

  4. One of the poorest countries in the world, with some of the nicest happiest people. Meanwhile in countries where capitalism through economic development has fundamentally shaped the culture, fostered consumerism, individualism, where everyone is alienated from their labour, like Australia or the US, aka 'developed countries', you get a profound breakdown of community and alienation from what makes us happy and human.

  5. Love Malawi ! Fantastic people and some stunning scenery, Lake Malawi and Mount Malange in particular. IMO the best country in Africa for tourists.

  6. You welcome to Malawi we don't like people coming here and talking about our poverty because we are hassling by our self to save our family no one nooks to people's doors begging food so when you come here be good we shall be good to you poverty is our daily living a hungry .man can be an angry man 👨

  7. I went to play soccer with some friends from malawi at a school near chipoka and within an hour there were hundreds of people surrounding the field because they thought i was wayne rooney hahaha
