As long as Netflix promotes EMPATHY, humanity will be alright.

Lol funny how white netflix executives takes creatives from only 3 countries (nigeria, kenya and south africa) and crowns them representatives of africa. Those creatives are dope but yow, there are 52 more countries

So is this a show
Why do africans only remember they want something when they see Nigerians doing it? You guys didn't know you wanted to be on Netflix until now???
Having been raised by and alongside many amazin' people of African descent… I feel so much joy that more diverse storytelling is finally being released from Africa… lots of love from Suriname 🐾 it's so .. so beautiful
Which Kenyan movies are on Netflix? It'd be great to see a few trailers on here as well.
I had read some stories written by Chinua Achebe
It's amazing how all of Africa grew up watching Nollywood. You grew up watching these poor broke actors work their way up and build up from scratch. Nollywood started because Europeans went to Lagos to sell their new video equipment and to show their films and Nigerians, being Nigerians, were like "Nah, we don't want to watch your movies. We want to watch our movies and tell our stories". That was in the 1980s. That was woke before woke became cool. You guys act like Nigerians are just always being given attention. All you do is let white people come into your country and make it into vacation spots and brand you as people you can feed for 30 cents a day. You watch Nigeria and other Africans do the work, you stay quiet and timid while calling us loud. But when you see us in the spotlight you act entitled as if we fucking owe you anything. You literally watched nollywood and SA film industry grow and evolve into what they are now, and you're acting as if we're just being handed attention. As if we didn't work for it. Africans ehn, I tire.
I’m a realist. I think differently. Rationally. Words and images of inspirations, are exactly what they are.
They are likened unto a good Vehicle that is stationary, because the Engine is missing.
Africa’s leaders are missing.
Until REAL leaders of Africa begin to emerge. Africa will unfortunately remain a sinking Ship.
Why will you need permission from any entity to express yourself and or your heritage?
Why will you think, you have no recognition, unless you are on a specific known platform??????
For you are bigger and mightier than any Platform
Do you need to be told that?
The depiction of your cultural heritage, is good enough to form its own Platform
Netflix needs you, more than you need Netflix.
Netflix knows that, very well. And as such capitalized.
Without several contributors in various acts, there will be no Netflix.
Remember this. NOTHING MOVES, by its spiraling Tail.
Africa needs REAL LEADERS with SPINES, to
Function equitably on the World Stage.
Think about it.
I watch almost only AfricaonNetflix. Thanks so much for this wonderful project 💕
This is everything.🔥
Love this!!! 🔥🔥🔥
