Luxury Brands Don't Deserve Your Money!
Sometimes I fancy an item, see the price tag and find myself thinking “What the hell am i paying you for, are you gonna change my life or something?” Does this ever happen to you too? Tell me I’m not alone in this please, pretty please!! Just kidding, I don’t want you to struggle with money, ever. But I’m sure everyone gets shocked by…

My goal is to own more property and dress really basic, Uniqlo fashion. Luxury fashion feels like a compensation prize for a system where young people can't afford to own property. It's easier to own a 3K bag than a house.
Luxury brands do not have ethics. They are no better than fast fashion. They do use slave labor, animal cruelty and they do burn their excess inventory. They burn, destroy the items with acid, they slash things… honey… they are horrible
I hate polyester or any plastic made clothing! It smells overtime, i dont like the smell when I stay in the sun, and its not breathable who invented plastic clothing?? And they sell this plastics for a high price? . I made a decision this year to change my clothes to linen, cashmere, cotton and silk. Anything with polyester or shell goes to trash.
Guess brand is a good example of this. I remember when it was big in early 2000s and they would sell jeans and bags that would break easily with ridiculous prices at the time.
There is definitely a point of diminishing returns.
Please refuse to by rayon, viscose or any polyester. They all shed microfibers. Rayon and viscose are green washed but the adhesives uses to glue together the fibers is petroleum based.😢
I agree. mid range lux is just as good as the ultra lux bottom line…were in a global recession. so live life comfortably and carefully. ❤
They just selling their logo, and it works.so why bother with the state of the quality.when the consumer had more money than sense its fine, easy easy money business as usual.
Now Versace is doing a sample sale and honestly it looks like you are being cheap clothes from a garage sale… you should do a video on this topic because for me it’s such a sale that such a nice brand with history is doing this types of things .. when it’s degrading the brand and its value … luxury is not what it used too be sadly. I remember those cat walks in the 90s when models would model for Versace and in that time it was very exclusive .. now anyone can own Versace through sample sales!
Coated canvas? Hmm.
WHY? BECAUSE OF THE FOOLISH ONES THAT THINK WAY TOO HIGHLY OF THEMSELVES TO BEGIN WITH. EVERY SEE THEM POSING? TOO INFLATED! AND ALSO, THE FACT THAT THE BRANDS CAN GET AWAY WITH IT, JUST LOOK AT HERMES!
❤zara
love the video , and yes luxury vintage is way better than current luxury brands quality
They are all rip offs. I got ropey dopey into this never ending chasing what? too but woke up before I went broke. Never too late. Sold most of them and happy with just a handful now.
Viscose and Rayon are exactly the same thing. It‘s a semi-synthetic fibre (synthetically treated natural fibre).
I'm not sure if luxury-sceptic and sometimes just luxury YouTubers are using the correct terminology when discussing big fashion business strategies behind their pricing decisions. Pricing is communication however communication is not limited to marketing and advertising alone. It requires a deeper understanding of Positioning. Market Positioning is absolutely specific – a business, any business cannot put a foot wrong – it is the difference between boom and bust/here one day and gone the next. A noticeable Position in the market is ludicrously expensive to achieve let alone maintain. Most, if not all luxury "fashion houses" (fancy rag traders), are up to their eyeballs in debt. It's why Balenciaga will not go away…shareholders of mega corporations like PPR/Kering want RETURNS. The message in this video hits the nail on the head… it's up to the consumer to change the market. Buy something different from smaller businesses. Love this channel ❤
Buy a nice quality custom item, much better than brand names. Buy small quantity, but high quality.
I feel like using Coach as an example for what your saying is wrong, as while they are a high end brand, they are also often a decimal point less than a lot of other luxury, while being the same if not better quality.
We recently lost fashion icon Iris Apfel. This woman could leave a garage sale looking like she was ready for the Met Gala. Because she knew style has nothing to do with your salary.
Well we can argue and talk for days about does cheaper stuff last longer or not but i my self have stuff that i bought in cheaper no name shops and even after many uses and cca 6 years stuff still can be used … it maybe isn’t like new but still is nice… and high end is so bad today that is ridiculous….
That’s why I love mid-range brands- hate fleshy logos but love quality. If I find it second hand it is even better or from a local brand.
