  1. I stopped by here 4 times and each time I was too let down to order. This place is completely different than what you see in the video. He ordered the fish briyani, they actually never have that. I recommend the Tea House at Emerson Hotel, way better, no flies, no nastiness, no rude service, beautiful views!

  2. My mom made a great Octopus Salad with diced tomatoes, diced Onions, cilantro, salt and pepper, vinegar and oil. I could have eaten the entire dish myself.

  3. Wow mouthwatering " octopus " lunch , you don't like Coke with that ?😀👌🌷ram ram. In other clip you showed picture of octopus caught by fishermen on beach near restaurant.👌

  4. I passed by Lukmaans when you were making this video. I subscribed to your channel a year after or so and something about you seemed familiar, then it hit me I was like WHAAAAAT. Searched "Mark Wiens Zanzibar" and this came up. Wow.

  5. mark, do you have recipes, for the octopus carry, as a matter of fact, for the whole meal that you had at lukmaan's. And thank you, for answering back. Peace, and you are my fav, traveling food guy. Especially, your trip to Brazil, that video, made me find a Brazilian, eatery here in my hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, and, I got the recipe, to the feijoada, I know it aint spelled that way, and the shrimp, camera, you know what I mean, thanks, and keep on eating!.

  6. Look man, wow. Cool video, i see they use basmati rice as standard rice type for biryani. Seems so good, you depict it. Thanks as always for the experience mark. Maybe i get inspired later when i opened restaurant to have cool name too, like "look mom" or "look bro" lol. I guess it have meaning "good person" literary, if im not mistaken.

    Best regard.
