  1. Savagegeese also had a massive problem with their Lucid Air key and inconsistent entrance and unlocking.

I was watching their Lucid vs BMW video as I have the BMW coming and the Lucid isn't available in the UK, but it does make me chuckle that stuff like the car glitching out and being buggy and not consistently unlocking itself is just glossed over. If a legacy manufacturer launched a car with a glitch like that they would be (rightly) savaged online.

This relates to the broader software too.

And also stuff like CarPlay where it has the freedome to be unreliable as it isn't critical functionality, I am on my third car with Carplay now and it is littered with bugs, quite frequently crashes/needs restarting and hasn't been meaningfully improved in the majority of cars (except maybe one or two Porsches) in years but people just gloss over it.

The software in the car can never fail, I do have some sort of sympathy for the legacy manufacturers who have had to pivot hard to being software companies, whilst having to maintain regulated software standards.

  2. Best in class build quality? The car is nice but that’s just an absurd claim IMO. You’re telling me Lucid is the best build quality for any 13:53 on the market? Cmon man

  3. I wouldn’t associate the word “flagship” with “AMG” or “M.” Those are performance models. Flagship comparisons would be “bmw individual” or “maybach.”

  4. Hell not! I tried one and it has too much gadgets in it. I went to Tesla. They don't have Apple Music neither spotify. They won't trade your car etc. Way too expensive for a little more comfort. Good luck with the company. It has its potential.

  5. Great video but for most of us we won't be get this car. Major reason we can't afford it. Not hating but stick to cars with great reliably that we can afford. Which is hardly any from the US & EUROPE With their planned Obsolescence parts and over complicated duplication of sensors etc. For the purpose of fleecing our wallets & buying faulty more parts.

  6. Lucid: I have an idea. Let's get the ugliest Hyundai wheels we can find and make ours look exactly the same. The wheel choice makes me question everything because how could they get that important design element so incredibly wrong. Did they not check with ANY car enthusiasts at all before finalizing the wheel choice?

  7. After yesterday I put my money on lucid Tesla has nothing but tons of problems with lucid I know where I stand
And most of all has the room to run no guarantees but we will see
