  1. If anyone is interested in making the book project bag the fabric is from the Rifle Paper Curio collection and the sewing pattern is the Beginner Bag by Kandou Patterns. 💕

  2. ? Hi Natalie: love your videos!
? I have the pattern for the musselburgh hat. I’m having a problem with the spreadsheet… I can’t put my numbers in the space to customize my hat. Did you have a problem? Any suggestions? Much appreciated. I did contact the designers but they said try the knitting community. Thanks & happy knitting

  3. Video request…i have always been curious how yarn dyers make self-striping yarn. If you go to a shop that dyes self-striping yarn, can you please video?

  4. we have a cactus in our garden that is almost taller than the house. we had to put a wooden plank along the side to reinforce it because it is so skinny, so when it is really windy it looked like it was almost going to snap. i'm eagerly awaiting your review of the strong heel after being converted to the fish lips kiss heel by your sock knitting course.

  5. Have you considered dumping your waste tank and refilling the water at a Camping World? It's a retail chain store throughout California and they have septic facilities there for motorhomes. I think it might even be free….at least it was when I was kid (which ::cough, cough:: was a long time time ago).

  6. Could you show a tutorial for the strong heel??? I got the pattern vanilla is the new black because I also had some self striping yarn and thought it would be super cute! And I am STRUGGLING. I even emailed the designer with a pic (who got back to me so quick!! And was so nice and helpful!!) and even she was confused because I appeared to be doing it right but I have so many holes in my heel. I also tried another sock pattern with a strong heel M1L/R and those weren’t much better. Great video as always and can’t wait to see your next!! 💜💜

  7. Starlight has a knit night at their store Friday. I don't think I am going but some friends and I are thinking about meeting up at a brewery or something Friday night. I think someone else is trying to put together a meet up on Sunday.

  9. So much fun coming on your travels with you. Lovely to see Kent on the video today! I love Toaster and glad to hear he is enjoying lots of new walks and meeting lots of dogs and new people! Take care x

  10. If you drive the coast in Oregon, there is a LYS in Bandon, Oregon called The Wool Company. Also check out Wild Rivers Wool Factory in Langlois. Visit Cape Blanco lighthouse just north of Port Orford. It’s a state park, and the most westerly point in the lower 48. Sometimes they do tours of the keepers house.

  11. Hello from Colorado! #travelquestion Since Kent is into D&D does he ever visit local game stores on your travels? Also a recommendation for the Morrow Point boat tour in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. If you make it to Gunnison while you're in Colorado you are welcome to stop by our table top game store Storyweaver Games that opens in just 2 weeks, especially if you need some reliable internet. 🙂

  12. I’m not sure this is a tutorial exactly but I’d love a video comparing different sock heels. I realize you don’t want to give away the secret sauce but which heels are deepest, best for self striping, that kind of thing!

  13. So glad you’re enjoying my neck of the woods! You picked a beautiful time to come through Arizona 😄 FYI that saguaro is pronounced Sah-war-oh. I agree that cacti are pretty darn cool! 😉

  14. So glad you got to Apricot! I live in Los Angeles and stop by Apricot whenever I go to San Diego. I started the Garti Cardi when you mentioned it a few podcasts ago and I'm so glad I did! I'm really enjoying it. I saw you sent your Suburban yarn home and I support your decision. Despite not being the most complicated pattern, it definitely has some challenging aspects. Totally understand not having the mental bandwidth when you're on the road. Love following your travels!

  15. As a native Californian, don’t forget about the rest of the state! 🙂 We are a big state with a lot to offer. You’ve definitely seen Southern California, when your schedule permits, come visit Central and Northern California. ❤
