  1. I was so sad to hear Louis Gossett Jr. Passed away ❤ sad a fine actor. One of my Dads favorites. These the actors alot of class and you hear every word they speak. Not many left. I know he was religious and at Easter time. Bless him. Slainte 💚❤😇🙏🙏

  2. I hope that God is playing "An Officer and a Gentleman" up in your mansion up in heaven ❤️ I broke down when I found out that he passed away 😭😭😭😭😭😭

  3. He has been in my life for most of it. Whatever roll he was in was exceptional. I just saw him in an episode of The Rockford files. His passing is SO upsetting.

  4. A movie alway got better whenever he showed unexpectedly. As someone who grew up inthat generation who were taught the colour of someones skin didn't matter(unlike these days) . I never saw him as a 'black man'just a great actor who had a great presence on screen. Rip

  5. I was around 5 years old when my mom and I walked into a bank in Simi Valley and my mother immediately recognized him. He walked up to me and asked if I wanted an autograph. I remember thinking all I wanted was the free cookies the bank gave out and the bubblegum machine they had. But he said hi and gave me one anyone and started laughing when I told him I just wanted a cookie! lol!!

  6. this is truly a great loss. I didn't like him because he was a black man. I liked him but he was a good man. if that soul had been wrapped up in any other color of skin he would have still been a good man. the world was made better because he stopped by. may the next step in his eternal life bring him great rewards.
