Low build quality and looks insanely stupid. This car is going to go down as a huge flop
It looks cheap if you get up close. Even the flip up backseats look
cheaper and less well engineered than those on my 2010 Honda Jazz (which don’t need a dinky pull cord to operate). It’s such a vanity project done on the cheap. It’s what happens if you’re a narcissist and don’t take criticism and only like your own ideas.
It's snub nosed. I did not get that impression with Elon on stage when the windows broke. So they may have changed the front end. Bulldog.
Honestly: “Cybertruck: the truck for people who are afraid of geese” is a pretty accurate tagline.
Looks better on video, looked like a piece of shit in person, park an f150, Silverado or ram next to this and there’s no way a truck guy would own one of these. Only car guys buy the cyber truck
Thank you very much for sacrificing yourself Mr. Brownlee, so I don't have to ! 🎉
Right.. so it’s a useless attention magnet.
Imagine this car would not be a Tesla and the tone he would use then. Sounded pretty biased to me.
Ice and snow will collect on that windshield…..in a rainstorm visibility is much less due to that extreme angle….a tad unsafe
I’ve always wanted one I would love to wrap it mate blue when I get one
😂 This video titled LIVING WITH THE TESLA CYBERTRUCK, makes it sound like it was a sacrifice. 😂
I'd love to be able to AFFORD that sacrifice.😂 What a jerk.
Your voice is very soothing
Good review!
I never plan to buy one of these, but I'd watch MKBHD review a phone book, so let's go.
I think the most insightful thing he said was near the end, how everyone has already decided how they feel the moment they see the thing for the first time, which is the only explanation to how so many people can apparently watch this unbiased review with an obviously negative title and verdict and call it "shilling for elon musk", because they decided from the moment they saw the truck that they hate it with a passion, and the reality that it is simply disappointing and a bit overpriced and not the worst thing to ever grace the earth isn't satisfying for them.
That yoke is a shit brick. Surprised you like it. Tbh I'm not a fan of any of the EV trucks. None of them are really fit for purpose.
Hybrids are still the way forward for now imo till better battery technology and charging stations are available so you can't get stranded relying on random charge points that other people can be queuing on for 1hr per turn.
Does it transform into a robot? No? Not interested
Paying 100k to be a beta tester for Musk's wet dream… no thanks
if thats how the future looks like.
i rather be dead.
were is the style class …..its .. UGLY its a piece of shit in my book.
asside frome the drive line,, im oldscool..
in the Us i would like to see cars like the camaro, even a Amodel, or how about the 50tis..
in Europe,,, Citroen Traction avant, or the DS,, noo not that piece of crap they call DS nowadays, but the old one with Hydropnematic suspension..
this is in my book, the Ugly future, and belive me, im glad im 60 almost +, cos i sure DO NOT like it.
shit has more class than that socalled rustfree bulletproof thing
Polarizing is the perfect word for it. Do I like it? I guess so. Would I buy it? No. I don't see it as a usable daily truck. I don't want the attention. I don't want people asking me questions and gawking at me when I drive it. Quick and fun to drive? Yes but this is basically a toy for the rich.
TESLA DICK RIDER
I think when the novelty wears off this is going to be one of the most ridiculed and laughed at cars of all time.
“Steer by wire” is a thing familiar in aviation, but under the name “fly by wire”, which is that the flight controls are connected to a computer which then do the work (this has many advantages), and has been a thing since 1987 when Airbus launched the first commercial aircraft to fly with 100% FBW technology, the A320. So it’s not a new concept at all, and found it funny how they reinterpreted the name.
The problem with the cybertruck, is virtually the entire concept. Any defining characteristic of it, whether it is the hulking size, the shape, the uncomfortable and impracticle interior, the stainless steel exterior, is a retarded idea. I would bet my entire networth this came 100% from Musk.
Every single Cybertruck was recalled because the gas pedal literally comes off and wedges itself into max acceleration. A wonder of engineering worth every penny of 100k.
Tbh this was too positive. They failed in so many major structural ways. You cants just discout that
Panel gap? You can basically finger it 😅
Why oh why would anyone?
Yeah, everything about this thing just seems super dangerous.
I miss weird cars. Not THAT weird, but some weird.
That car and the person who9 produced it have so many things in common…One of them is he is promissing planets and dude gives you a stone…he is one of the biggest con artists…If you put up the things that happend to people cos of his products, he would be jailed for life…Him saying that he knows about production then any person alive, its just spit to a face to his fans….
Tesla & Out of This World is undeniably The Ultimate Marriage dressed out in the finest Tuxedo with a Garter Belt everyone would love to have thrown their way! This is so so very HOT! STUNNING! If ever I could I'd be the 1st to say "I DO"!
He dissed the Fisker hard for software issues, but went really soft on the CT for things that will never be fixed through a firmware DL… lol. What an Elon Stan.
so really the only thing that is awesome and definitely moves vehicles forward is the steering/suspension. didnt they just fire the guy who lead that?
I can't afford one – and I haven't the space to park it.
It is something that would be great for a day, fun for a week and oh so annoying to have to use as a proper car – yes, trucks are toys I can't afford to compromise with. I await the SU7…
I'm sorry, I don't like it. It seems impractical and if I was looking for a new truck it wouldn't be this one.
Not bad for a prototype. I wonder what the production model will look like when they finish it in 5 years time.
