As a German, Greek and EU citizen, Jimmy Carter was the first US president I heard of and was inspired by as a 10-year-old. Mr. Carter's inspiration and generosity shone far beyond the United States.
For me, he stood for a United States that people could look up to. Much has happened since that time, and we are currently experiencing the decline of the values that Jimmy Carter represented like no other.
I don't think there'll be another president like President Jimmy Carter.

Say what you want about a guy who served in the US Navy. Doesn't matter but I am a Republican, I am pleased that he made it to 100 years old, he had a long, good life with his wife Rosalyn. They broke the mold with Jimmy E Carter. He even found time to serve the church and volunteer his time for habitat housing for those in need of housing. Makes Joe Biden look lethargic, and Donald Trump look greedy. Democrats and Republicans have gone downhill over the last 40 years.
Fewer billionaires, more peanut farmers running for president please.
A life truly well lived and a life well done, heaven has opened his grand doors and God said he can come in rest in peace.
