If the ruling becomes in favor of the accused,does that mean they will be released and freed from this trial or the state can always persue their case on the main trial without the confession am sure there is another evedince that implicate the accused except "confessions/statements " which were taken.

My psychology tells me that the judge has accepted the confessions. Why? He says this rulling is only a rulling so that to minimize the worries of the public and of the defense team. Yet we know that if he accepts the confession the two accused are going down. Come back on Thursday to correct me if I'm wrong. I think he could have given the rulling not to waste time. Also, his defense mechanism is too much. Why would he bothered by public opinion if he gives the fair judgment?

Guys if u understand this Trial within a Trial properly i want to be assisted to understand the following: Did the accused make the statements/confessions under duress(assaults and threats) thereby tainting their intergrity and possibly admissibility OR the accused both 1 and 02 never made any statements/confessions (the ones under discussion were completed or written by police Colonels Mbotho & Raphadu and then forced the accused to sign or other ppl other than the 02 Colones forced the accused to sign)???
