Regarding Canada, I will turn on my crystal ball for a moment. Okay, I see the whole world in my globe as if I were out of it. What peace are the UN “ peacekeepers “ keeping when Hezbollah fires rockets within sight of their facilities and watchtowers . Watchtowers where years ago they must have seen Hezbollah digging tunnels and moving munitions into the Buffer zone that they and the Lebanese army were sworn to demilitarize under UN Resolution 1701 but not only failed to do so but failed to inform the world . The only purpose they serve is propaganda as the initial attempt to turn the world against Isreal was thwarted by the IDF showing videos of Hamas tunnels , rocket launch sites and ammo dumps located in UN schools , UN hospitals and residential areas . Having failed at that attempt now it’s the peacekeepers who like the civillians are given advance warning or being stopped on the road while the IDF engages Jihadists . But the reason is obvious as Palki says . The death of one soldier will be attempted to turn that nation against Israel but this can also backfire on leaders like Modi as Israel has given warning and opposition leaders can point to a derilection of duty to safeguard that nations peacekeepers in an obvious war zone . Logic says it is already a derilection of duty and concern .
