  1. I liked Malema, but he made a grave strategic error. He should never have agreed to work with the DA to, as he said, "surgically remove the ANC from office". The DA is the son and heir of the apartheid National Party. The irony is that Ramaphosa stole Malema's idea and is working with the DA to destroy Black resistance to the new face of apartheid. In a way, Malema became hoisted on his own petard.

The black leadership in SA seems to have developed an affinity with the institutionalized W/S that is historically pervasive in SA. Half of them are content to live out their existence getting along with W/S and accepting the 30 pieces of silver they receive from such cooperation. The other half, the EFF, MK, etc, pursue a linear strategy that does nothing for the masses. And so the lives of the oppressed blacks have not changed over the 3 decades of free election, courtesy of the genuflecting, shuffling, and corrupt ANC leadership on one side, and the intellectual inadequacy of the EFF and MK et al on the other side.

  2. Helen always has to stick her entitled head up. Ask, Mmusi, Herman and that Mazibuko chick. Steenhuisen is an easier pawn to control because he doesn't have a post-matric (that can and will be used against him at the right time). She likes the feeling of being in charge.
