@tellneet

Small minds and having nothing else to talk about. Where are our intellectual men? Enough of this derogatory conversation.

@glittagocrazy

He ain’t lying

@Monique-xz3jp

Whats so crazy as they sot there and talk about BW….. THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT THEMSELVES. This just get more and more repulsive to me, THEY TO were taught to hate parts of THEMSELVES which is why when they see it on us they don't like it, NEGRO YOU HAVE THE SAME HAIR!! THE SAME!

@beautifulonyxx

Whose child is this? 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

@fashionbee499

If only they had this much passion and conviction for convos on how to better themselves and the community as a whole and stop the practice / promotion of harmful social norms.

But black women's hair…. yeah that's the pressing matter at hand 🙄 mfs need to open up beauty schools at this point 😂, atleast bring some money and education back into the community, damn.

@joannelewis3390

Im starting to understand how people were discriminated over natural hair

@lizzylizzy6312

As usual some black men talking 💩 about black women they know nothing about! Why not ask us why some of us straighten our hair? Why not help us manage our 4c hair? But no, they wanna chat 💩 about us, yet chase straight hair wearers! Stop watching us because we sure ain't watching you!

@kasandrapenny4760

Lies

@brendalenawilliams87

Are they retarded? Or just stupid

@juisijuis8490

Not me bih!

@cookiecookie1834

They can’t dominate in their arena so they have to step in our domain. Women shouldn’t care what men think about our hair. Go wash your balls and go build something.

@tessyshotkitchen

Black woman's hair is confusing the world. Black hair is magic we move

@LexiimaWriter

Wow speak for yourself silly guy 💅🏾 my hair doesn't align with subservience … Yall on some dumb s*** talk to yall mommas

@MeMusicaEsFuego

🤣, False not facts.Black women were (Forced )to wear straight hair because white women cut of black womens hair from whites womens jealousy.

@evelyntaylor4470

Well you men aren't educated if you only think mixed or biracial women have long hair. It's 2024. Find something more productive and positive to focus on. Folks need to get away from colorism, hair types; long hair, short hair, straight hair, natural hair , nappy hair, braided hair. It's hair. These conversations are ridiculous 🙄

@ReisePiece

They refuse to understand that Black women were forced to work to provide for their families- mostly for white people. When you work for someone you have to CONFORM to their standards of what is acceptable or desirable for their employees. The recent crown act has allowed bw to wear natural hairstyles to work and now you see more diversity in hairstyles amongst bw. Not to mention it’s black men that want bw to wear their hair “long” like white women.

Black men need to worry about Taking care of their family families , and finding jobs to support them.Staying out of jail and stop elevating white women and take care of their own.

@rb5959

What a very weird conversation. Why would a man pretend he has the authority to tell a woman's experience? Please stay in your lane, sir.

@peacekeeperbabe

Oh…& how do u wear your hair? I see your fade; is it symbolic of how you want to cut your own balls off?

Kick rocks (without shoes)

@denisehenry3427

I want to hear from him when he take that little blue pill. If he is not taking it already. So he can continue preforming like a "black slave buck " if you can't uplift your black sista shut up. 🖤

@marcasino3117

They're programmed. They don't even onow why they do what they do lol

@azzeren-9358

Sassy behavior, all this talk and no houses being built 😢😢

@butterflyqueen9792

So wrong they need to stop. Now how you think your mom got her job and kept her job to feed you. She had to make her her straight to get that job. Her hair wasn’t allowed. A law was recently passed allowing black women the freedom to wear their natural hair to work etc. you don’t know, you don’t understand and you don’t appreciate. Shut your lying mouth.

@AnitraRawlings-ex8zh

I for one prefer to wear my hair straight because it brings out my east Indian facial features. When my hair is nappy it's still beautiful but it over powers my face and I don't like that look. This is MY truth and any blk person who has a problem with that, truly feel sorry for you. Fix your life.

@itsnice420

Boe. Do you know how hard it is to COMB my shit when I don’t straighten it? I spent many years in the mirror crying because I was so frustrated with my hair. So I started straightening it and/or wearing wigs and braids not because of beauty or what “men” think but because I don’t feel like putting up w the shit every day😂There are plenty black women who dote on their hair and have the patience to deal with it. I’m not one of em.

@lakendracollier5099

"Standard of beauty they were chasing"…..um no sir, it's called forced assimilation.

@mericuty

Had me in the first half ngl 💀 Then he started spouting some straight bs

@denisechavis4820

Dude don’t know Black women

@tyrahjerideau8582

I agree with this brother!! It was to make it manageable and to adhere to eurocentric standards.

@Thewolverine0865

It started as a survival mechanism in a society that discriminates against black people bc of their natural features. The Slave Narratives is full of testimonials where the enslaved said that they loved their hair, lips, and skin. There's also mention of how mothers saw how whites were less likely to separate crying children from their mothers during auctions if they appeared mixed. So, the e enslaved mothers started straightening their children's hair before auctions, in hopes that the whites would think they were mixed and show more "compassion". Post reconstruction era, black men and women were more likely to get hired into better paying jobs if their hair was straight, or slicked down. The persistent conditioning that African features are bad through systemic racism , entertainment mocking black people, brutality without accountability, and defining a person's right to live and thrive based on one's features. It was a gradual, and intentional process to make black people, and whites, believe that European features are necessary for survival, better treatment, and a better life, that resulted in the idea of a "standard beauty". Thus the drive of black people to assimilate, and the negative treatment we give each other when we choose to be our beautiful selves.

@obakgwadi7672

Lmao 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂, isn't this the same group of man who has been dragging black woman's looks for years 🤔 calling them masculine and nappy. Calling them ugly because of their rich melanin. Comparing black woman to the fit , feminine and friendly Becky. Today is slavery that need to be held accountable, not them for the trauma that they have caused for black women and girls??? So all this time, they have been embracing your beauty huh?? Man if you don't don't get the f%$$%……😂😂😂😂

@onyx.daffodil1644

Actually, yeah hes right. Its was to "fit in" to be liked, to the European beauty standards. And its part of trying to integrate in to society. Overtime the reason has changes but its not that far off. From, turbines, hot comb, to relaxers and wigs. So when your elder relatives hate how you "messed your head up" after you get the big chop, go natural, get locs, its because back in their day, that was seen as unkept and nappy and ugly, its what they were taught and it stems from another reason. Now when you make that conscious decisions to embrace what naturally come out of your own head, you become a problem. An act of selflove and self awareness is a threat to society's oppression and ignorance( i say society because oppression is varied) .

@flamingoparrish8215

Get back to kountry Wayne detective 😂😂😂

@Rasheens-Story

Why are they acting like they like black women with natural hair when they glorify the opposite races cause I’ve experienced that, also black women started straightening their hair and wearing straight wigs because of what they had to deal with in the workplace. Our hair wasn’t seen as professional so we had to conform and now it’s just like trending and people just wear it for fun now or as a preference

@mytube7207

Not chasing forced…we just got the crown act. I like many I have come across and are around that loves our happiness nappies 😅

@notorioushebrew4793

Just stfu already..YOU SELF HATING SON'S OF BIHS😒

@carolynjones2348

Go to Africa our hair is strong, straight, curly, and loose curled. Some black men have always judged us by our hair. Learn about Madam CJ Walker. These guys are simple like Chris Rock with his movie degrading us. Even if we cut our hair off black men will still talk nonsense Like Chris they don't have a woman in their life listen to the 😮conversation

@Sunshowers88

Not that deep. I was natural for 20 years, and recently decided to get a relaxer. My hair no longer stresses me out and I finally get more sleep! Not to mention that I don’t have to worry about my hair after gettin busy 😊
