Libyan Stuffed peppers – Filfil Mahshi – فلفل محشي
Simple stuffed pepper recipe
Ingredients:
Peppers
1 cup rice
1 onion, diced
2 tomatoes, diced
2 – 2 1/2 spoons tomato paste
1/2 cup fresh parsley, 1/3 cup fresh mint,1/4 cup fresh dill
2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons five spice
1 teaspoon turmeric & cayenne
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 litre of stock or water
