Liberia’s drug problem: Drug abuse is on the rise with few treatment facilities


Liberia’s new president Joseph Boakai has declared drug abuse a “public health emergency.”
Addiction to heroin and crack cocaine is on the rise.
And a lack of treatment facilities means the majority of addicts are left to fend for themselves.
