  1. Can you list the ingredients you added to the pot after it was empty with out the meat. Was it palm oil or butter? I see you added another ingredient.

  2. The soup look delicious. This is one of the first soups of African cuisine that fish was not part of the ingredients. I love that, because I’m not a big fan of fish that has a lot of bones, with heads and tails attached. I watched one young lady from Ghana made chicken soup and they put boney fish in it. I did asked her why she added fish to chicken soup. She said for the flavor. A Lady from Liberia, I’ve only seen her make nothing but soup, at every meal and every time, she has some kind of fish in it and every few bite their picking bones out of their mouths. I can’t enjoy a meal like that. (Please excuse my rant about soups with fish bones) 🙂 Those peppers look like jalapeños peppers to me, but I could be wrong. I did a search for WOLOR, couldn’t find it, except for this video. When you said it makes the soup slippery, I thought that sounded like Okra. I like okra, but try my best to cook it where it doesn’t produce a lot of the slime. Like cutting it up and seasoning it, then baking it. Then adding it to what ever I’m eating. I guess the slime from the okra is an acquired taste. My Ancestor’s came from Africa and I guess, if I grew up there, I would have the same desired taste for things like the Mucilage that okra produces when cooked and fish with bones. Would love to visit Africa one day. But would stay away from fish in soups and soups with mucilage. Thank you for sharing the recipe. I will try it, but I won’t put as much WOLOR powder in it, if I can even find it. What do you normally eat with the soup, something like fufu ?
