Bro, you're foreign to our culture. It's just brotherly love. It's got nothing to do with gay. It's because you exhude foreiner vibe. I'm Ghanaian based in Canada and I get the same reaction whenever I visit. You comparing Kenya is just off because Kenya by nature is purely influenced by American culture so much so they've ditched their traditional values. I mean, their president is a US puppet who committed to sending his youth to go work on the zionist farms despite their ongoing massacre of innocent Gaza civilians. Ghanaians by nature are very receptive and friendly towards foreign visitors, and that's what you're confused about. Kenya is STI swimming pool because they copy Western promiscuity, especially their younger social media addicted female population. They openly record and sell their own sex videos for money.
Although there are LGBT in any country, I doubt that in Ghana it's been obvious with a slew of gay men hitting on you. They are verryyyy observant as a culture, and particularly unused to black Americans visiting Africa. They have heard a lot about you and are just being NOSY. They want your business, too. Since you appear Black American, they may be admiring and/or giving you brotherly support and love. Something we Blacks here in America refuse to understand. They are showing you brotherly love, bruh!
u keep causing problems never say that about Ghana try that shit again u empty needy man
No man flirted with u, stfu, learn our culture dummy
I’m staying away thanks
😂😂😂😂😂dang
This is what’s gonna happen in Kenya though watch. They are planning on sending tech companies there and where ever wazungus are this stuff grows and Kenyans are delusionally xenophylic.
Probably because the way you dress from USA they think you are Gay.
That a lie those men over there not gay I went there 2021 and got married there being gay is not on their agenda they just friendly
Dude you walking around with your tiny shirt and all chest out and all, might be fashion in the US but in Ghana that shit is gay AF. They came up to you cuz you look kinda fruity bra. Just a little bit lol
When I was planning to go to Ghana back in 2011 (never went, long story), my female friend from there warned me that I’d see a lot of men holding hands but that it wasn’t really gay. It’s just a cultural difference that would be strange to an outsider. However I can’t speak on them tryna holla at him. Definitely could be true, but so what? There are gay people in every country in the world despite what people from that country try to tell you.
Bro delete this video. you are no different from the white people that love negative false propaganda about African countries. how long did you stay in Accra one or two weeks? did you go to all parts of Ghana? do you know that American culture and African culture are totally different? there is nothing like LGBT in Ghana
This guy just used the same pattern of the white people to paint a whole country in a negative way, i'm sure he wasn't in Accra for more than a few weeks. number one Accra is not the whole of Ghana. Although Nigeria and Ghana normally have some banters, this guy has just painted a very wrong narrative about Ghana. these are the issues with Black Americans, the cultural difference is too off with Africans although they might get better luck with Countries like Kenya, Uganda and a lot of the Southern African countries because these countries are increasingly getting westernized gradually. you can go to Accra for a few weeks or months out of About 16 cities in Ghana and suddenly have such blanket statement about Ghana or any country for that matter. LGBT is far from Ghana although there might be a very small minority of people doing it on a low
Kenya has a large lgbtq+ community, but they are "undercover" mostly……
What country Uganda 🇺🇬 i guess.
Ohh my goodness our culture has been kidnapped
Your lips. Pretty!!
Yo are you actively looking for gays?, step out of the rich USA communities in Accra and come to Kumasi nobody will call you anything. But I'm shocked to hear that.😢
What he might call gay in the west is just men being overly friendly and not gay in Ghana.
Welp, Ghana is off the list!!
Then ask urself why? Bro ur looks
Shucks, the average African American woman or male would smile at him because he looks different! His hair is always laid and clothes look fresh. His swag is unnoticeable!
are you in the gay neighborhood
That community is everywhere, it's just underground. He may be apart of the community.
Discusting
Then leave
Dear men in this comment section, a lot of you guys will not go trough this. Auston is very handsome and he looks very groomed, so, ofcourse the guys like that. Not to say that you guys don’t look nice and not groomed, but, I’m 100% sure most of y’all don’t look like Auston. So, stop saying “we’re skipping Ghana”. Be realistic with y’all selves.
I've never seen a gay Ghanian all the times I've traveled
Lol wait until you go to 🇨🇳 🇰🇷 & 🇯🇵 the guys were trying to touch my hair, my muscles, constantly complimenting my hair, my body, my style. Strangers wanting pictures with me. Street photographers asking to photograph me. It can really gas you up and make you think you’re special, you’re not. You’re just a novelty to them and they almost wanna ‘collect’ you so they can brag to people they have a token ‘cool’ black friend. They weren’t trying to get me into bed. 🤦🏾♂️ Some women did this too but the girls are more shy 🙈 even intimidated by black men so you have to disarm them before they open up. Male only spaces are a big thing, like games rooms, or going to the Onsen or Jimjibang, you have to get naked alongside your Bros and sit and have deep conversations…nude. A lot of Americans would have anxieties about that. Not me. I wanted to experience the culture, as it has been for thousands of year.
There culture to be friendly, I have seen it. They are not insecure by hugging there fellow brother.
