I would like to immigrate to Ethiopia. The problem for me and many others is that Ethiopia does not allow duel citizenship. If they allowed duel citizenship, many more people would come.
Nah! That was Ras Tafari’s doing as he was Regent Plenipotentiary. Ras Tafari sent emissaries since 1919 which Prophet Grover Redding responded to. She never correspond with Garvey. Garvey was a 5th columnist. You can’t talk about Zawditu’s global works without mentioning Ras Tafari Makonnen, that’s called revisionist history.
My black African people, please stop believing the lie that we put each other into slavery, Just use common sense, Who is going to give their whole family up to Sunscreen people on a boat!
Ethiopia and Haiti, 2 Black African countries That defended themselves Against sunscreen people, When you fight back you won't be colonized!
I guess Banneker calling himself Ethiopian has merit
I Just Found Out. This Is AMAZING,Thank You Sista!!! ❤️❤️🖤💚 I Have A Reverence For Ethiopia,My Late Maternal Grandfather Served In World War I And He Met Emperor Hailie Selessie. Thank You For This Valuable KNOWLEDGE!!! 🇧🇴
Thats amazing and Thank you!❤
I feel blessed to find your channel. I was not aware of the invitation to come back home. I am now considering it, since the revelation of our president-elect.
African going home to Africa is cool but technically this whole planet is the Africans home.
You posting a video of a women that claims that her boyfriend is christ. Sheesh
Amen Right on to the sister for this message is needed at this time
She is NOT BLACK
She is so beautiful to ask us this.
I just learned of this☺️
❤😊 Thank you. This is amazing to learn. I appreciate the Princess' gesture. And in as recent as the 1920's (20th century)
What is a African -American, how can you be from 2 different countries?
I agree
In 2018, President Nana Akufo-Addo, President of Ghana, announced an initiative called "Year of Return" where he extended an invitation to descendants of enslaved Africans to return to their homeland to build lives, reconnect with their roots, and invest in the country. It feels good to be wanted somewhere in the world and to know we haven't been forgotten. The invitation is worth considering.
👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽🖤🖤🖤
Just finding out about it, but I have been expressing this systemic division most of my adult life. Thank You for sharing this content.
My name is Marlene Joseph
I’ from Costa Rica, la historia de Marcos Garvey in Costa Rica wasn’t clear enough that is why I dont know too much of our historia. Nevertheless, I’m very interested to learn more about WHERE I’M COMING FROM
I think that a separation ocurr cause in Port Limón, was only a few handled that información besides I was borned in 1961 and there were no kind of information of BLACK PEOPLE HISTORY ANCESTERS LINKED STRONGLY WIHT AFRICA. ( the Costarrican. We haved been more or less INVISIBLE, but always VERY HANDY.
Is like THEY DIDIN’T LIKE US BUT UNDENIABLE., they couldin’t ignore in US THAT ESSENCE we portrait
They trayed to steele everything that they could from US, except our undeniable essence.
Thanks for the opportunity to address this theme
Yes knew about this for decades. Thanks for bringing it to the surface again.
Wow. I wouldn't have expected this! Empress Zewditu was known as a mean conservative. I would've imagined Haile Selassie doing this, not her. 😭
Bless her soul for providing the diaspora with repatriation.
Thank you for the lesson.
All I want to know is if the offer is still available?!
Wow I took a class about Marcus Garvey in college and if I learned this, I definitely forgot. I appreciate the share 🙏🏽
Sad that black Americans are so spoiled by America {the greatest land in the world} they wont even care ,,,,entitled spoiled brats
I appreciate that. But I'm not black African. I black Indian mix American
I never heard about this invitation does it still stand today in 2024-25 let us know I would love to visit and learn more.
Thank you so much for providing this key information regarding my heritage 🙏…yet another passage to explore 👑
Thank you! I didn't know this. I've been planning to go back since 2021 and making my plans to go to Nigeria hopefully next year in 2025. I've never even been overseas! 😅
Well some black Americans don’t believe we were taken from the continent od Africa. There’s proof this land was black before the colonials came way before Columbus was was here
I am confident that choosing to leave the United States and explore Ethiopia is the right decision. This journey promises an enriching experience, offering unique cultural insights, natural beauty, and the chance for personal growth.
I heard from Tariq Neesheed that BLACK AMERICAN FREEMEN helped the Ethiopian government fight against Italy, and they offered land to us BLACK AMERICANS.
በርቺ ፥ በጣም በጣም ጐበዝ
I am researching dual citizenship after the election of criminal trump. America is a mess.
I had an idea that it was a reality, but it wasn't me known to us. It's alright, commonality, is concerned?
We felt like, hmm, we were stuck in the position that we're in
like being an ill in captivity.
I heard or read somewhere that many black Americans knew of this and wanted to go back but were denied passports by the US state department.
👍🏾
Your voice is magnificent
Grandma told me, her family was ready to return
🤔
It's to late.. black people had enough time to unite and instead they went deeper into evil …and greed…it's time for judgement
I didn't know about it
It is definitely of utmost historical importance: Pan African endeavours were definitely more effective & efficient back then compared to which the modern approach thanks to the manipulative power of social media is merely lip service. Nonetheless, one needs to hear in mind – it was her nephew & co- regent Ras
Tafari Mekonnen (later emperor Haile Selassie) who paved the way for the abolition of slavery as one of the modernisation plans – which was the only benefit for the ethnic majority, the Oromo, while the empress was known to be extremely conservative. It’s sad it took another 88 years for this country to accept again a female head of state.
May have been an invitation….
Yet….( Did not internet back then as now.) Therefore…that never ever reached any (NEWS of European"controlled" )News stations or News papers descendants 🥺
I love to come and buy some land there. Maybe move there.
My reaction to these development continue to be the same. Let Africans connect our people all over the world to ourselves abroad & on the continent of Africa as well. Maintain our presence wherever we are while we unite our people throughout the world, conciously distributing our human resources according to need. Begin this process with education.
After doing my Ancestry and saw the countries in Africa I was from…it made me wonder if Africans think about all the stolen family members that were taken from them and how they feel about America.
Yes, those who are knowledgeable of the works of Marcus Garvey knew of the strong connection between Ethiopia and Africans in America. This letter of the Empress needs more exposure
