I live in Switzerland and attended Athletissima in Lausanne on many occasions. It's not usually at a Diamond League event near the end of the season, especially after the Olympic games, that records are meant to be broken. The best performances happen during finals of Olympics and World championships.
Is nobody gonna talk about how much of a beast Sifan Hassan is? She ran a 5000 heat on the 2nd, got bronze in the 5000 final on the 5th, then got bronze in the 10000 on the 9th and came back 2 DAYS LATER to WIN the marathon! Suddenly running 3 rounds of the 100m doesn't sound so hard!
1:55 You need to pronounce the ‘G’ in ‘Gaborone’ the same way to you pronounce the ‘g’ in ‘Tebogo’
Knighton didn't do himself any favors by not running as many meets before the Olympics, didn't look as good as he had last year in my opinion
You forgot Michael Johnson's 19.32 counting men's 200 m all-time list.
I think he will run a fast opening 100m but if he sees that he's got a big lead at around 150m, he will probably slow down and not run at 100% all the way to the finish line. He's known to do that, after all. However, if there is indeed someone close to him by 150m and he keeps going hard, I think we could see another sub 19.50 from him, possibly faster than his 19.46 PR but not by much.
he can go as low as 19.20 and start challenging bolton's wr
The man with the best chemist wins ! 🧪 🔬 👨🔬
give him lane 5..
No way, Lee Evans world record is untouchable ike
Was this before or after knighton tested positive for tren? 🤣🤣
I noticed that you left out Michael Johnson from the 5 fastest 200m runners.
Mark my words do not count out Knighton in the future
Michael Johnson's 400 split split in the Olympics was 42.9!
This race is from 2023 click bait
I🇺🇸🇯🇲🇧🇼good luck to ALL the teams around the world be careful and have a good end of the year races win some events and a lot of money and stay healthy that’s the name of the game 🇨🇦🇨🇮🇨🇺🇩🇰🇫🇷🇩🇪🇮🇪🇮🇹🇱🇷🇱🇹🇵🇷🇬🇧🇾🇪🇹🇨🇹🇭🇹🇹🇹🇴🇬🇸🇿🇦🇱🇨🇸🇧🇵🇪🇲🇸🇳🇱🇳🇪🇮🇱🇲🇻🇲🇶🇲🇺🇱🇹🇱🇸🇱🇺🇬🇷🇮🇩🇪🇪🇫🇯🇬🇬🇩🇪🇪🇺🇱🇺🇳🇴
He has become unstoppable, not after that win. It was a confidence booster for him. He is just 21 making him a potential 200m and 400m WR holder.
Tebogo slowed down before the end in the 200m finals in paris.. easily could have gone sub 19.4 and even 19.35
My bet is 19,32s at Lausanne ❤
These Diamond league races are great, but there is a way I want Tebogo to get some rest… 2-3 months before the start of the 2025 season.
I think he can go unbeaten in the 200m and beat 19.3 seconds in that season.
He has made us think he can consistently beat Lyles 😅 and not just because of the Olympics, but how he closed him down in London last year. For me, that’s the day I knew he was going to be something in the 200m.
Where in Michael Johnson in that 200m all time list sir. He ran 19.32

2:25 Andrew you forgot about Michael Johnson 😅
I like Knighton but personally I think this time Tebogo has it. Maybe he can go even faster than Olympics or around 19.4/5 so if Knighton doesn't drop a PR he ain't catching him this time.
Good battle though, I already know! 😂😅
i'm saying ~19.65 for tebogo to win, with kerley in 19.8/.9 and knigthon right behind kerley
Does anybody know when this race is?
Knighton tested positive for a banned substance before the Olympics but was allowed to take part. Was this an athlete from another country they would have been banned for years.
wtf dude!.. ur 200m all time list didnt have michael johnson 19.32 Aug 1996!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much for the wonderful coverage as aways.
Please cinsider to do a post on African sports with a focus on sprinting and also on other disciplines and highight women as well.
Please consider the same for other nations and continents as well.
Expecting a low 19.3, but the best I see him doing is mid 19.2.
I wudnt say it was a massive African record, he beat his best by 0.04s 😅
Im going to say it, hard work and blessed genes!
I really appreciate the effort you make in pronouncing his name. Also your videos always on point 🇧🇼🙏🏾
Probably another 19.55 to 19.66
If he’s leading well he’ll shut down
19. 50
