Upper Egypt make the rice different to that. We do what u do at the beginning butter and rice, but then u add the stock juice from the meat to the rice but just so the rice is covered just covered though, and if u need to add more as u go u just keep it topped up but u got constantly keep an eye on it so it does not burn. Sorry just thought I would add that, it is the best rice ever full of taste. 😊

My mouth is drooling honestly. I've tried lamb once in my life, and I didn't like it..but it was not cooked in that style. I believe I would really enjoy it this way. Thank you for sharing.

Another delicious looking meal!!
I made your recipes from the other video, except for the salad, and everything was delicious!!! I didn't have any fish, so I stuffed eggplants with the veggie mixture and added a little extra tomato (because I love eggplant and tomato). I've never made potato salad without mayonnaise, but I loved it.
The real test was the rice. It took a while, but it was so good, it was definitely worth it. My daughter is addicted to rice and soy sauce…she'd be happy to eat that for dinner every night. I had to beg her to try the rice first instead of automatically putting soy sauce on it. She loved it!! I couldn't believe it. Rice with soy sauce just has that one note salty soy taste, but the rice with the onions,
juice from the veggies, and the seasonings had such a complex flavour.
Because I used eggplant instead of fish, it was a vegetarian meal, so I also made lentils so that we had some protein. The meal was definitely a success. We have family potlucks once a month, and I think I want to make the rice and stuffed eggplant for the next one. There's quite a few vegetarians in the family, so I think they'll appreciate a veggie entree.
