Lablabi is a Tunisian dish based on chickpeas in thin garlic and cumin-flavoured broth served over small pieces of stale crusty bread. A soft-cooked egg is always added to the hot stew mix, along with olive oil, harissa, cumin, capers, tuna and lemon.
