Fine vermicelli/kunafeh pastry dough : 250 grams
Unsalted softened butter : 80 grams
Ricotta cheese/fresh crumbled cottage cheese/paneer : 200 grams
Sugar : 1 cup/200 grams
Water : 250ml/1cup
Chopped pistachios for garnishing
Lemon juice : 2 tea spoons
Rose water : 2 tea spoons

  1. I love baklava, when I walk into a corner shop I ask for it, I know they don't sell it but it breaks through the cultural barriers and they know I appreciate their origins of food.
