I‘ll be back in KNP in January 2025 and June 2025 for 22 and 16 nights, respectively. The final night in Malelane camp in June will be my 200th night in the park.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful video!

Do you know those Coleman stretchers have a 'trick'? The short poles that are at the head and foot of your stretcher have holes for the long poles – you'll see they are not the same distance from the sides of the pole, the top pole and the bottom pole need to be in 'reverse order'- difficult to explain – if holes on the top pole are, short distance left and longer distance right, then the bottom pole must be the other way round before you insert the long length poles…. And then sit on you bum and push them in with the bottom of your foot – using leg strength… we also use ours on our trail running camps. Thanks for your great video's.

Good content, Villiers. I tend to only stay in Punda Maria and Shingwedzi these days. Furthest south I will camp is probably Tsendze haha. Was good to see you in Mana Pools, my friend!

Hi Villiers, me again 😂 Hope you enjoying Gonarezhou. .. so I bit the bullet and got the Benro s4 for my needs. Tell me the panning handle grip, do you have to knock it off or does it turn off. Is it glued on or screwed on. I don't want to damage the grip but the arm is far too long.

Hi Villiers, Tell me… do you find the Benro S4 (which I assume is yours) very stable for both video and photos. Please can you also give me the height. Sorry for the questions but we in Howick KZN and our province doesn't have any decent camera stores.

@gartenmachtglucklich2862

Thanks for Your great Video. We enjoyed, it. Could You tell us please where we can find James Pan? We Can’t find it at the map and we would like to visit it when We go there in November. We have a Kruger park map. Thanks in advance

I absolutely love watching your videos. I have just returned from my 1st 7 day trip to Kruger and to say it was a magical experience is an understatement. I loved every minute of it and had the most special sightings and experiences…I think my highlight was having a rhino walk past my tent just after midnight and me being able to experience something that special. I cannot wait to go back next year

Lovely video overall…

However, I have some concerns and very strong recommendations as a result:
1. You said you parked "far off the road". Please don't do that because you destroy vegetation and ground nesting sites, not to mention you leave tracks behind. By mentioning it, you encourage every other Tom, Mick and Harry to do the same. The rules of the park are to stay on the road.

2. You also mentioned where you were when you saw the rhinos, and mentioned the "rhino activity" that you had noticed in the area. Please don't show the rhinos, nor say where you found them. Even when marking sightings on the park boards, we no longer show where the rhinos are to protect them from poachers!

Please edit this video with regard to the rhino sightings and the fact that you drove off the road.

Thank you.

Really enjoyed this week long journey i loved everything you showed us, and my plan is to do such a trip soon. Visited Addo recently and we saw not much on our day trip due to bad weather but it is always special to visit our national parks.

Excellent film – recalls memories of a month ago, when my wife and I drove from Pafuri Gate to Malalane Gate for 15 days, doing about 4 thousand km. In May 2024 we were also in Kruger Park – I agree with Villiers – the best park in the world. Who else agrees on this issue?

My concern with your camera set up on the window is how do you close it quickly if a Lion or another predator comes close?
