I want to know how large of an enclosure some of these canals comprise; would be really cool if a bunch of them were interconnected to make a truly humongous pond.
The first video of the dumping of the so called “koi” babies are NOT koi at all, they’re in fact, adult goldfish which are called RANCHU. Do not believe these type of ai voiced videos bc they’re just spreading misinformation for views
I wished Philippines🇵🇭 are the same. Most people here don't even bother to throw it on the trash can, even though IT WAS LITERALLY NEAR THEM! They just throw their trash around like the ground is the trash. and the worse part is only few people were just cleaning while others throw their trash around.(I'm a Filipina/Filipino btw.)
That is honestly beautiful. I love how they turned these small canals into habitats for breeding koi. Definitely leagues better and kinder than how koi are usually bred.
Btw I heard adding catfish to a koi pond is a good idea mainly cause they’ll eat some of the eggs keeping their population under control.
I need to fish there

What you’ve shown in the first part are not Koi fish. Those are gold fish. But yeah, Koi fish in japan’s canal systems are pretty nice.
